KATARA'S POV:
"Ok, babe, it'll take another week for the hole in your hand to go away," I told Toph. "We can't stay on lockdown for that long," Sokka said.
"Fuck no we can't," Zuko agreed. "Guys, calm down. We're not. I don't need two hands to fight, just like I don't need two eyes to see," Toph said.
"I'm sorry, are you kidding? No, there's a fucking hole through the middle of your hand," Aang said. "Ok, jeez, clam your balls. Wrap up my hand, and I can't use it anyways, so that's that, I can't get hurt," Toph snapped.
"Yeah, Aang," Sokka said. I sighed. It's like watching koala-sheep cheer for someone when Sokka starts picking sides.
"Dude, chill, everyone!" I said. "Listen. We can't stay here, it's crawling with guards, and Azula will end up dead if we do," I said, gesturing to the princess on a chair, who held her head up when she heard her name. "Yeah, I don't wanna die," she said. I nodded.
"And if we go to fight in the Colonies, Suki, Mai, Toph, and I will all die, not to mention Azula's cover might be blown, and a lot of supporters are trained in lightning now, which, we already lost Aang to once," I said, gesturing to the Avatar who was placing a new wrapping on Toph's hand. He frowned at the memory.
"Ok, so? We can't go or stay, what do we do?" Tylee asked. "We find Ursa," I answered. Zuko looked up at me. "She's right, we need to manage our time," Mai said.
"No, Ursa specifically told us to wait until after the Colonies," Aang said. "Ok, I'm with Aang. I also kind of don't want to go see big scary dragons," Sokka said. "Still think we can take 'em, Zuko?" Aang asked. I don't even know. Zuko just scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Well, then we're gonna keep her waiting until at least January. And it's May. What do we do, stay here and wait for Azula's cover to get blown and then go die in the Colonies, or peacefully reunite Zuko and Zuls with their mother?" I asked. "You decide." I sat down and crossed my arms.
"Let's find Ursa," Suki said. "It's the best option right now. We still need to stay here for another day, though, if we want to leave on Appa." I nodded.
"Of course. We'll leave Tuesday on noon, instead of today. Y'all ok with that?" I asked. They all finally agreed, and I sighed as Aang sat down next to me.
"We're out of food," Zuko said, breaking the awkward silence after 5 minutes. "It's midnight, Aang and I'll get some when it's morning so someone doesn't sneak up on us," I said, yawning.
"Let's all get some rest," Aang said. "And if someone attacks?" Mai asked. "There are guards surrounding the entire palace, we have a blockade outside the Nation, and there are 5 guards outside that door. I think we'll be ok," Zuko said.
I put some water on the handle of the door, so only a waterbender could open it. "Now only Aang and I can open it," I said.
Eventually, we all agreed to sit down on the floor and sleep. It was awkward and uncomfortable, but we managed. The rooms are pretty big in the Palace.
We were all worried all night long that someone was gonna attack us. That someone was gonna sneak up and kidnap one of us. That someone was gonna hurt us.
But little did we know that Yue shone bright and high, protecting us from all evil.

Ok, guys. I'm really sorry this chapter is so short. And I forgot to tell you in the last A/N, but, like, what do you think of On Ji? I know in all of the modern AU stories about Kataang, she's, like, she has a crush on Aang, but I'm not normal and neither are my stories. But the modern AU Kataang fanfic im working on in secret may or may not have her like that. We'll see.
