Double update whaaatt? Lol it's cuz I have a final this week, two more next week and one the week after so it's gonna be a busy next 3 weeks for me but I'm still sticking to my 2 chapters a week don't worry! I won't have time to write later in the week and since the last chapter was a lot shorter than usual I decided to push them both out today. That means next update won't be till next week I think 🥲. Seonghwa eventually returns with a couple bottles held in his arms, the shorter male from earlier trailing behind him. Wooyoung took note of the slight disappointment in the boy's forced smile. If he had to place a bet it would be that Seonghwa most likely told him off.
He's really serious about Hongjoong huh? The Seonghwa I know wouldn't even have come back. He probably would've disappeared to who knows where with him.
He felt jealousy burn in his chest as he silently inspects the small patterns on the red plastic cup held between his tight grasp. Seonghwa sits down on his spot while looking around a look of confusion his face. "Wait where's Hongjoong?"
"Bathroom I think" Wooyoung glances at him with a fake smile, closing the editing app he had opened up on his phone. Seonghwa nods in understanding then relaxes in his seat, pulling out his own phone.
"What do you see in him anyways?" Wooyoung pushes.
"Huh?" Seonghwa arches a brow. "And you're asking because?"
"Just wondering why the Park Seonghwa, breaker of hearts, is so smitten by some guy" Wooyoung leans forward, a dark look in his eyes.
"He's.. just different. He isn't just 'some guy'" Seonghwa found himself actually thinking about why he was so infatuated with Hongjoong. There was something so innocently genuine about him that appealed to Seonghwa. His sweet smile and sophisticated way of carrying himself drove the older crazy.
Wooyoung cocks his head to the side, not quite sure what he even meant. But he could see the realness in Seonghwa's eyes. It was hard to ignore. It made him mad.
Only because he wanted that for himself. He wanted someone to think of him and have that same look on their face. The look that said they'd do anything to make him smile. To see him happy.
He bit his bottom lip hard but forces a laid back smile. "Sounds like you really like him"
Seonghwa chuckles lightly. "Yeah.. I guess I do"
Out of the corner of his eyes Wooyoung could spot Hongjoong making his way to the table but since Seonghwa had his back turned to Hongjoong he couldn't see.
Wooyoung wasn't sure if it was the alcohol in his system or the feeling of bitter anger at his situation with San but he immediately leaned in and places a wet kiss on Seonghwa's lips knowing Hongjoong could definitely see them.
