Dinner eventually came to an end. San's dad payed for the meal and they all began walking back to their respective cars. Wooyoung and San walking ahead and both their parents trailing far behind them.
The walk with Wooyoung is silent. The cold winter air kissed and pinched at their skin repeatedly. Their breaths comes out in visible puffs of hot air.
"You don't talk much, do you?" Wooyoung decides to take the initiative by nudging San and using a lighthearted tone of speaking. "What? You got bad breathe or something?"
"What?" San is appalled at the rude comment.
"Relax, I was kidding. Get used to the teasing, love. We're going to be brothers after all" Wooyoung smirks slyly like he cracked the funniest joke.
That smug look did it for San. He stops in his tracks, grabs Wooyoung roughly by the arm and brings his face up against the younger. "You're not my brother and don't ever call me 'love'" He practically growls in Wooyoung's face.
Wooyoung just looks back at him dead in the eyes with that same amused smile. "Is everything alright?" Wooyoung's mother asks with concern, her arm looped with her fiancé's.
San doesn't say anything. He pushes past Wooyoung and continued on his way to his dad's truck. Wooyoung stares at the older's back as he walks off, his eyes slowly shift to San ass then he nibbles his bottom lip.
"Yeah.. everything's great" He responds with a calm smile.
San enters his dad's truck with an irritated sigh then he slams the door shut. Wooyoung's mom had parked behind them so San could see the younger male leaning on the his mom's car through the side view mirror. The boy looked so unbothered as he scrolled through his phone like he didn't just piss San off.
"Punk" San mutters under his breathe.
A few moments later, after both their parents had a minute of alone time and kisses goodnight, they part ways and go into their respective cars.
Hyesun goes into her car and Wooyoung follows with a small yawn. San watches him intently and Wooyoung glances back briefly at the truck. San felt his heart skip a beat because he would've sworn their eyes met in the mirror. Though it was probably just his imagination.
"I don't like him" San blurts out the second his dad steps into the car.
"Wooyoung?" Namkoong asks with a raised brow. He puts on his seat belt. "And why's that?"
"He's kind of asshole-ish"
"Language"
"Sorry, he just irritates me dad. Did you see the way he kept staring at me during dinner?"
His dad just shakes his head in disappointment as he drives back onto the road. "You're being dramatic. He's a nice kid, San. Stop being so stubborn will you?"
