The Four Noble Clan

As what everyone knew of, no matter how strong a person would be, he would always have a weakness that was kept tightly as a secret. For Feiro's situation, it was his dual personality, specifically, Yuer - the defenseless alter child persona within him.

At times, Fiero can suppressed his alter persona's desire to come out. However, it was not the case when he saw her collapsed and loss consciousness. He saw how her body lied lifeless and soulless for three days by which he was also fighting for dominance against Yuer. Miraculously, Hillary woke up from death's bed which made Feiro so stunned, leaving Yuer an entrance to dominate and take over the control.

Regarding Hillary's ridiculous assumption about the mysterious cave being connected to Fiero's dual personality, it wasn't really true. Just as Hillary caught Fiero offguard, it was already an opportunity for Yuer to come out once again. That was just the only reason why Hillary managed to get away from Fiero's threatening grasp.

Fiero as the King of hell was always on edge and on guard even when he was asleep. He had a lot of enemies so Fiero was already used to leaving an eye out behind him even when his inside his own kingdom. He had trust issues and wouldn't accept anyone so easily.

However, Yuer was entirely different than Fiero. He could trust and be loyal to someone forever. Its just that once Yuer found that person, he would no longer accept other person. And that made Hillary's luck good enough to be able to grasp a hidden golden thigh from Fiero's reign.

Back at the Avalon Kingdom dungeon,  Devon was waiting for the reply of the  Four Noble Clan head elders. If majority of them wanted to take action regarding this conflicting situation then, Devon would not standby as he was the last remnants of the hidden Fifth Nobles - the Keeper Clan. Anyone who belonged to the Keeper Clan must devote their  whole life to the one person they serve as master for a lifetime. This clan was kept hidden because of their amazing prowers and that they serve as the secret shadow guardian of the royalties. Aside from protecting their master, the Keeper Clan members also served as shadow guardians of the Four Noble Clans' secrets. Anyone who was known of their desire to the secrets of the Four Noble Clans will be annihilated by the  Keeper Clan in the shadows as commanded by their superior.

As the last survivor from the previous dynasty 2 decades ago, Devon would have to shoulder the brunt of this situation. Whatever the decision coming from the Four Nobles as long as it would not endanger the only person he served to protect, Devon would not hesitate to let himself all out from the restraint of the seal. Anyone who has a seal from the Keeper Clan meant that they had tremendous amount of power that they couldn't control. Most of their power were restricted by the seal so that they would not easily lost control.

However, not everyone in the Keeper Clan were lucky to have this privilige. Only one in a million would be born every decades but even so not all new born could survive. Some of them would die even before childbirth due to how delicate these babies were compared to ordinary ones. The beginning of pregnancy of the females in the Keeper Clan carrying a baby with tremendous power was truly like a ticking time bomb. Any slight mistake of movement or too much exertion of force will lead to miscarriage. That was why only one and two babies could survive until their birth despite how rare to have babies with tremendous power were in their clan. All females pregnant with these babies will all die after birthing because their lifespan were slowly being drained by the babies as nourishment, leaving them weak and powerless during child birth.

As what the elders in the clan usually said, having tremendous power resulted in unfavorable events. Only by these hard-earned circumstances the clan would be prospering in greater heights.

Suddenly, Devon heard hissing sound in the background a distant away. He knew that the shadow little snake he made was already on its way with  the reply he was waiting to unfold.
