Y/N is a 15yr old demon slayer. Her and Insouke were inseparable until Insouke left for the mountains 5 years ago in hopes of becoming a better demon slayer

Y/n Pov 

I walked around looking for some supplies I could use for the day until i found the next town to resupply in. As i walked around i heard fighting, i heard people scream  "Fight me you coward" and "Woah, please calm down i don't wanna fight you" this probably meant a stupid irrational person wants to fight a calm and collected one. I made a 😒 face as I went to go check it out.

As i got there i stopped and stared at the chaos as i unintentionally stood next to 3 kids and some boy on the floor who looked badly battered. Soon the boy beat up boy with yellow hair finally noticed my presence 

"Wow, your so Beautiful PLEASE MARRY ME" he cried as he grabbed the attention of the 2 boys fighting

I had my hair in a messy fro while wearing a plain black and white checkered kimono. I looked like i hadn't showered in DAYS let alone be considered beautiful right now 

"ErM....wat?"  i said while making a 😃 face 

"I think someone forgot to get their dog"  i thought

"Zentisu who's that?" a boy with black hair and burgundy tips said

"ohhh so that's this weirdo's name, Zenitsu" i thought

"I'M NOT SURE BUT I HAVE TO MARRY HER"

"Zenitsu please think rationally and let's introduce our selves" 

"My name is Tanjiro Kamado and the boy on the floor here is Zenitsu Astugama and we are both demon slayers"  he introduced while bringing his hand out for me to shake

"The names Y/N L/N and i'm also a demon slayer " i introduced as i shook his hand 

"By the way who's the boar?" 

"Ohh that's Inouske" he said as he pointed to the dumbfounded boar

"That's the name of my childhood bestfriend"  i thought as i reminisced on our fun times together

"Heloooooo??? anyone in there? " i asked as i walked over and knocked on his mask

This guy didn't even flinch or respond meanwhile on the otherhand both Zenitsu and Tanjiro looked like they were feeling sorry for me and were trying to warn me. I mean what's the big deal who is he anyway?

"Y/N!" he yelled finally talking 

"🤺 Woah stay back, who are you and how do you know my name?🤺"

"IT'S ME INOUSKE"  

He took of the mask and revealed himself, I'd notice those blue tips anywhere 

"I-Inouske?!" I stumbled in disbelieved shock

"w-why....."

" Why did you leave me all those years ago, I was being bullied and you weren't even there to stay by my side like you said you would!" I yelled while letting frustrated tears roll down my cheek

"no-i...." he muttered

As he struggled to speak i stormed away while Tanjiro and Zenitsu came running after me 

"Y/n!"  Tanjiro yelled to get my attention

"Are you ok"?

"Tanjiro leave her alone sh- she's going through something" Zentisu stated in worry 

"Yes i am aware of that i just wanna make su-"

He was cut of by a yelling Inouske trying to get my attention

Y/N wait! 

I turned around to meet a puffed out and sad Inouske trying to explain himself 

"My mother and I ran away from my abusive father soon after she died, i used the skills i honed while being brought up by the boars to become a demon slayer and make a living for myself"

I stared at him in regret, why hadn't he told me about this family and how he was brought up, he always seem so carefree and easy going . I had felt so disappointed in myself self, i neglected his feelings 

"I'm- i'm so sorry you had to go through that" I quietly sobbed as i hugged him

"No it dosen't matter who cares! I'LL PROTECT YOU NO MATTER WHAT! AND THAT'S A PROMISE" he yelled feeling all cheered up

"No, stupid your the one who needs protecting" 

"Do not"

"Do too"

"Do not"

"Do to-"

"NO FAIR, UGLY INOUSKE KNOWS A BEAUTIFUL GIRL LIKE HER, WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS" Zenitsu said as he wailed on the floor

"HEY I"M NOT UGL-"

"Guy's lets just all calm down" Tanjiro said as he dragged Zenitsu on the floor

"What have i gotten my self into 😔" i thought
