"Y/N! Deal with those people in the back." Dabi ordered as he ran off with the rest of the group.
I smirked and made my way towards the back.
Finally!
Ever since I woke up, I felt like my old self—the one who didn't care about myself and especially not others. The League raised me to feel this way. It's where I felt comfortable.
A member of The League of Villains is where I belong.
But then.
"Please! Don't!" They screamed.
Screaming isn't doing anything. No one can hear you anyway. You're just hurting your voice.
I grew closer to them, and the absolute fear on their face was becoming more apparent.
My heart started to beat faster and faster the more I looked into their eyes.
"I'm sorry." One of them whispered to the other. They were embracing each other so closely. I saw the veins popping out of one of their hands from squeezing the other so tightly.
I knelt to their level, and one of them shot their eyes open. Horror was written all over them. They were shinning from the tears that were fighting to escape.
Did they always look like this...
I lifted my arm to do my job.
I watched as they flinched and held each other closer.
"Close your eyes. It's alright. I'm here."
It sounds like something Midoriya would say.
I dropped my arm down in defeat and held my head down low.
"Go." I whispered.
Still shivering, they looked at each other and then at me. "I'm sorry?"
"Go, now!" I shouted, still kneeling with my head to the ground.
They wasted no time, and I heard their heavy footsteps running away.
Don't be so loud. They'll hear you. Be careful.
I sat on the ground where those people sat in fear. I never gave any care to these things before. It's like I can feel the torment that was emitting off of them.
I can't even do this anymore. What's wrong with me. I was so excited but seeing them just made me feel something different.
"Y/N! What the hell are you doing on the floor. Let's go." Spinner appeared from the corner and dragged me to the rest of the ground.
Once again, the puppet master was dragging me along against my better judgment.
I don't want to be here anymore. Can't we go home...
I walked into the room with the rest of the League and immediately felt my stomach twisting.
Shigaraki touched a man, and I saw his very body decaying away. His scream as he faded into nothing seemed to echo throughout the building, sending chills throughout my body.
"You were too slow. Had you gotten here earlier. He'd probably be alive. Too bad."
I felt my eyes fixating on his decaying ash. "I'm sorry." I whispered.
"It's alright. We still have one more chance."
Dabi brought someone in and forced him on his knees.
I saw tears streaming down his face.
"I already told you! I don't know any-" Dabi kicked his leg, forcing the man to grab it and shake in pain. "Bullshit. You know just as much as your buddy did. Just tell us, and we'll let you go."
