"How is it to be back?" Midoriya threw himself back on the bed with his hands behind his head. Everything little thing he did now looked so attractive.

I think I need to calm down. It's not like...it's official.
Technically, he could be with someone else, and I can't be mad...

"Hey, what's wrong? Your face got really down for a second."

The way he's looking at me now—the way he's holding onto my hand so tightly. I don't want him to look at anyone else like this.

Is that selfish?

"Do you like me?" I whispered, darting between his iridescent eyes. He raised an eyebrow. Some doubt started to cloud my mind.

"Do I like you? Y/N, I almost punched Mineta the other day because he said you looked hot in hospital clothes." He started to laugh.

"That doesn't answer my question!" His laugh faded, and he smiled. "Y/N, I really like you. There isn't a single person clouding my mind. You've stayed stationary in here since the moment I saw those eyes." He whispered, reaching out to caress my face.

"Do you just have another notebook filled with flirty yet cheesy things to say." I mumbled, feeling a bit embarrassed. But hearing such cliche words still put my heart at ease.

He laughed, "No, I'm just naturally a tacky kinda guy." He winked, and I pushed him playfully.

"So what does that make us?" I mumbled again. "I don't know. I've haven't heard you say you like me." He leaned forward. "Do you like me?" His smile had pride written all over it.

"I'm not saying it!" I protested. "Then, I don't know what we are. I guess we're best friends."

"No!" I said almost instantly. He smirked, leaning forwards again. There was barely any space between us again. I could almost feel his heart and his breath fanned my lips.

"Midoriya." I mumbled, gently placing a hand on his face. Rubbing his cheeks, admiring the freckles that beautifully decorated his face. He hummed, never removing eye contact.

"I like you." I whispered. He smiled and placed his hand over my own. "I like you too."

Once our lips connected, all tension from the room was erased. The Earth began to spin again. Everyone held their breaths at once; this moment was ours alone, but everyone was waiting for this.

I never believed in things like destiny but feeling his lips against mine. Feeling the way our bodies move on their own. Letting my heart take control. Maybe, the universes had this in a plan for us.

With one hand tangled in his velvety hair and the other resting idling resting his cheek.

There was no other moment that could have been so perfect for us.

For some reason, the time when Mirdoriya had mention interdimensional travel popped into my head. I wonder if I, in other dimensions, have this moment at the same time.

I hope so.

We pulled away from each other to catch our breaths. Breathing a bit heavy, he smiled at me. He rested his forehead on mine, staring so deeply into me.

"To answer your question. I want us to be together. I can get pretty selfish. I don't want your lips to touch anyone else's. So..." His voice trailed off. "Will you go out with me?"

I smiled genuinely and pecked his lips again. "Of course." He wrapped his arms around my waist, and I put mine around his shoulder.

"Should we go back with the others now?" I mumbled into his neck. He nodded slowly, "I guess. We have been away from a while." He got up first, putting his hand out.
