Sunghoon's pov

"Mom, what is it?" I asked her as she called me to her room.

"Son do you remember the day you told me you want to be an idol?" She asked making me raise my eyebrow.

"Yes? And?" I sit on a chair beside her bed.

"Someone asked me yesterday, she is a manager of an entertainment. Son this is your chance to pursue your dreams and I don't want you to miss this." She look at me with a full of hope.

"Mom really? W-wait this is too fast, I can't believe it." It made me in a state of shock and happiness at the same time.

"Read this, I want you to think wisely for your decisions son." She kissed my forehead once again and exited the room.

Can someone please tell me that this is just a dream. This day was so unexpected, time went too fast to the point that I am slowly achieving my goals. I quickly ran out of mom's room and head towards the balcony of my room.

"Via? Are you there?" I shouted from the other block looking forward if my friend is there.

"Guess she's still at work." I sighed heading out of my balcony.

"Are you calling for my pretty name Mr. Penguin?" Her voice suddenly echoed making me flinch and go back to the balcony.

"Hey." I waved at the girl who's reading magazine with her hair swaying around the air.

"Hey." She said imitating me.

"What's with that yellow paper?" She sit up nicely while staring at the paper i'm holding.

"You wanna see?" I asked and she nods.

"Here." Our balcony is not that far from each other making it easy for me to pass it to her.

"Be:Lift Lab is finding some members for their new debuting group... Wait what? Be:Lift? Isn't that a company at Seoul?" She looked at me with wide eyes.

"Mhm" I nodded and sit on the bench on the balcony.

"So you're gonna audition here?" She her mouth formed an 'o'.

"A manager from that company asked mom about me entering a group. She said that I have some skills for an idol." I took a deep breath.

"Hoonie-ah~ Take this chance, I'm so happy for you." She smiled widely at me.

"You want me to take this?" I lift the corner of my lips.

"Of course! I don't want you to miss any path for your dreams, you should take this." She jumped out of happiness.

Aigo, she looks happier than me. This girl.

"Are you sure?" I assured and she nodded aggressively.

"Why are you asking me? You're the one entering this so you should be asking yourself." She looked at me with curiosity.

"You know I'm not confident when it comes to myself right? You're the only one that can make me feel enlighten." I responded.

"Aish Hoonie-ah~ Look, you're a campus crush, you're talented, athletic, handsome, wealthy. You should be confident to yourself. Learn how to be extrovert 'cause I'm not always by your side." She took a deep breath.

"Pft. That's too much." I shake my head.

"So, if you pass the audition.." I then noticed that her eyes are starting to worry.

"It'll take me first a long time for training. I'll move to Seoul for that." I replied.

"Oh. Goodluck Hoonie! I'm sure you'll make it." She smiled warmly at me as she rested her chin on her palm.

She looks so warm, I wonder what is she feeling right now. I'm her friend and it worries me when I leave her alone. She's as precious as rose to me, I don't want to loose her.

"Hoonie-ah~"

Her voice suddenly cracks making me look at her.

"Yes are you okay?" I asked.

"Y-yes. I'm just happy for you." She said with a teary eyes.

"Hey hey, why are you crying." I then reached her cheeks with my finger and wiped every drop of her tears.

"Nothing, I just remembered seeing you 10 years ago slipping down the ice." She laughs softly. "Aigo, Sunghoon is growing up now." She gave me thumbs up.

"Am I? How about Via? Did you forgot mixing all of the ingredients of the coffee way back 2010." I giggled.

"Stop. I'm innocent that time." She give me a deadpan look.

"Pft. You're so dramatic." I ruffle my hair.

"Vianna! Dinner is ready!"

I heard her mother shouted from her room making her stand up.

"Maybe let's interact later then? Goodbye penguin!" She waves at me and go straight inside her room.
