I powered of my phone as I heard Mitch come in downstairs. I went to my records wall and debated if I should put on the AM or Favourite Worst Nightmare by the Arctic Monkeys. I decided to put on the AM album and 'Do I wanna Know?' Was the first song that came on I hummed along to the beat and plopped on my bed on my back looking up to my ceiling.

'R U Mine?' Came on then I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in" I said
My dad came in with Mitch and Sarah behind them.
"Arctic Monkeys, nice one" Sarah said
"SARAH" I screamed and I ran up to hug her.
She laughed and said "hey Dev"
"Ok I get it we all love Sarah but where is my hug" Mitch said.
"Mitch" I smiled
"Dev" he smiled back and gave me hug.

My dad went to go close my door and locked it.
"Why did you lock the door" I asked
"Your mother I don't want her to hear" he said
"Uhhh why?" I asked
"Imma about to tell you guys and I need your help." He said "especially yours Dev you know ur mum the most."

We all sat down on my bed all waiting for my dad to speak.
"Soo uh how so I say this." He started
"Go on we don't have all day" Mitch said
"I wanna propose to Kendall"
Wait what.
Like marriage proposal.
My dad wants to marry my mum.
Omg
"Wait you wanna marry mum?" I said
"Yeah" he said
I gave him a hug and tear rolled down my cheek.
Maybe love is real after all.

"How do you want to do it?" I asked while wiping away my tears.
"Well we need to know what she like doing best" Sarah said.
"Well she likes going on Yachts" Mitch said.
"Wait I've got it, we get a Yacht and we have like a nice little day out with all her close friends there so as yours and like I'll bring some of mine. Everyone will know about this, except from her ofc. Then you do it, when the sun is about to set on the deck" I said.
"That sounds good but we need an excuse to go out" My dad said.
"Good point" I said
"What if you do it on Christmas, it's next week so if you get a ring now put it under the tree and everything and once you opened all the presents say you have one more for her" Sarah said.
"Ok I like this one" I said agreeing with Sarah.
"You think she is going to like it?" Harry said
"No, she is going to love it" I said.

"So Monday we go ring shopping?" Harry said.
"Oh don't forget we need to bring aunt Bella, aunt Gigi because those are her best friends. We have to do it discreetly. But we will have some time, mum is going for this shoot and this vogue thing with Uncle Tyler" I said to them all.
"Ok when does she come back?" Sarah asked
"Well she leaves at 8 the shoot goes in for about an hour or two, so she will be back at 10:30 around there. I will tell her I'm going out with friends and stuff. Then I think at 12:30 she leaves for the vogue thing and comes back at 4" I said.
"Ok so we meet at 11 at Gigi's" Harry said.
"Well we need to see if they are free tho" I said
