"DEVYN" I heard my mum shout from downstairs. "YEA" I yelled back at her.
"COME HERE ME AND UR FATHER WANNA TALK"

I hoped of my bed and ran down the long hallway and down the stairs.

"What's up?" I asked out of curiosity
"Well me and your father have been invited to the Emmy Awards and wondering if you wanted to come with us?"  My mum said
"I would love to come, when is it?"
" Tuesday" my dad said. Today's Saturday so have not that long to look for a dress but I will see what will work.
"One thing, how the fuck did yall get invited when ur a model and ur a singer?"I questioned while pointing at them both.
"Firstly, language" my dad continued "secondly do you not remember I was in Dunkirk?"
"Oops sorry your highness" I said in an English accent. My mum just laughed while my dad gave me a glare.
"Well since it is Saturday can you please book me a slot for tomorrow or Monday with the Taylor's please mum?"
"Sure thing" she said.
"I'll be up in my room if you need me"
I said after kissing both of my parents on the cheek and heading upstairs.
