Chapter 21

Raven P.O.V
I flutter my eyes open, my whole body was in pain. I look around me and couldn't see but my nose caught up a certain smell.

It felt nostalgic but it gave me chills and a mixed feeling in my stomach.

Fire?..blood?....rotting bodies..oh shit, you've got to be kidding me.

My anxiety started to kick in.

Does he know I'm here?

"Oh you're awake!"I heard a squeaky door open and a female voice, I mentally sigh in relief.

"Wh-Who are you?"I said accidentally stuttering.

"You don't have to worry! Am not a fret"She said in a fake high pitched voice then proceed to laugh bitterly.

"Why can't I see?"I ask.

I feel something on my face being pulled down, so I was build folded.

"How did I get here?"

"Well my brother went to Earth to look for you but he was late so I went to go get him myself"

Brother? Salem has siblings?

"Turns out on the day I went some humans dressed in thick clothing attacked the building you were staying at and I saw you and before they could attack you I kidnapped you and brought you back"The girl grinned evilly.

My memory slowly started to come back to me.

Me, Cyborg and Beastboy were called to the principal and just after we went back to campus I heard someone shriek but that's about it.

"Where's Salem?"She tsked and crossed her arms.

"That idiot ran off with the humans...you know it's pretty funny *chuckles* I saw him helping other students and actually looked like he cared"She laughed again and looked off to the side.

"How long have I been here?"

"Aren't you asking too much questions hybrid?"The girl narrowed her eyes at me.

I stared at her as she looked away again and gulped.

"2 months and a half"My eyes widened.

I can already imagine how worried Cyborg and Beastboy must be.

I mean they used to make search parties for me just because I would turn up 5 minutes late to a hang out.

"Take me back!"I said, she suddenly bursted out laughing while walking towards me.

"Try to stand up first"I tried to move my legs but I heard a chain shake.

I look behind me and see chains on the wall attached to me, 2 on my ankles, 2 on my wrists and another on my neck.

"What now? Going to call for daddy? I would happy do it for you"Her eyes started to glow red.

"You wouldn't"

"I would do anything for Master, and if that means exposing that his most prized possession is back in his realm he would be over joyed, it's a bit mean to take away someone else's happiness don't you think?"

"Shut up"I said in monotone.

"What are you going to do? You can't even move"The demon squats down to my height and put her index finger under my chin. "It's your fault my brother is now in the hands of humans"She glares at me. "Disgusting hybrid, you're the being that connects us to the living"

"I would rather be a hybrid then a full demon"She tilted her head to the side.

"Really?"

"Yeah..I would rather be the being that connects two races then be a lowly demon following the orders from someone else"She grit her teeth and slapped me.

"Watch your mouth! You're still part human!"

"Send me back!"She slapped me again.

"Stop being so prestigious! No one's going to follow your little requests you scrum"The girl stood up and kicked me in the face.

My blood started to boil in anger, my eyes glowed white as the room started to shake.

"What's happening?!"She said trying to keep her balance.

Random swords, spires and daggers appeared out of no where and started attacking her.

One of the daggers came flying towards me and broke the chains.

My vision started to slowly redden but before it could get worse a picture of my friends flashed before my eyes bringing me back to reality.

I started to blink rapidly, I look up and see her paralysed in shock.

The demon was standing up against the wall looking up at the ceiling with the weapons impaling every part of her body except from her head.

I stand up and I couldn't feel my arm, I squeezed it with my hand and a shock traveled through my body.

I just had to break a bone in the worst situation!

I walk up to the demon and stare at her as she looks at me.

I take out one of her daggers and impale my broken arm's hand.

I'm not in control over it anymore so it could start shooting out magic at an moment without me stopping it.

I cringe at the pain.

"I'll heal you..but you have to bring me back..understand?"I said between breaths trying to ignore the pain.

The girl slowly nods.

"Azarth Metrion Zinthos!"I said as the daggers floated out of her body and turned into black sparkles, I put my good hand over her wounds as a blue light takes over my hand.

She watches in awe.

After am done she starts to move her body randomly.

"Almost like it never happened...amazing"She whispered to herself, she looks back at me."How come you can't heal yourself"She whispered still in shock from everything.

"Non of your business..make a portal to Earth, now"She nods quickly.

The demon puts my broken arm around her neck and her other around my waist to support me.

She whispered a spell as a blue and green portal opened up.
