Chapter 23

No One's P.O.V
Jinx watched from far away at the two having their moment, students mumbled about the two.

"They're really meant for each other"

"They look so cute together!"

"I bet he must be so relieved, he wouldn't sleep for days because he would be too worried"

"That's what love does to you"

Jinx looked away as her eyes watered, her heart ached at the sight.

For weeks Beastboy and Cyborg would come over to Jinx's and Bumblebee's dorm and try to find ways to teleport Raven back without actually entering Hell.

Jinx cherished those moments, she didn't know until now that she fell in love.

She clenched her fists and grit her teeth, she glared at Raven, she took a closer look and saw the hole in her hand.

Jinx wondered what Raven must have seen in Hell.

Beastboy picked up Raven bridal style, Jinx dug her nails into her palm. Jinx had the urge to curse the Witch with the new incantation she learned but knew better then to use her powers for jealousy.

Jinx thought that Raven was gone but reality had something else in store for her.

Garfield for her was the only boy that wasn't scared to talk to her.

Jinx started to feel stupid, before Raven disappeared he would act so lovey dopey with the Witch even if she didn't show any interest back.

The only reason Beastboy talked to her was because of Raven.

Jinx tried to make herself feel better by thinking that he might just be a really caring friend but then remembered the way he reacted to her coming back, he even cried! And she smiled!

Something the two never do or aren't caught doing but just saw both of those things happen at the same time in the same situation and was caused by the two seeing each other.

"Hey you okay?"Bumblebee put a hand on Jinx's shoulder, Jinx nods and masks her sadness with a smile.

The day was slower for the Metahuman, in every class she went to, the main topic was either Raven coming back, the girl that came and happened to be Salem's sister or about Raven and Beastboy.

Lucky was finally back into her dorm with Bumblebee.

"I know you're secretly dieing inside aren't you?"Bumblebee walked in with ice cream.

"Why would I?"Jinx tried to act stupid.

"I see the way you look at Garfield, it's the way Victor looks at a new video game"Karen sat down next to Lucky.

"I don't know what you're talking about"Jinx crossed her arms and leaned into the couch.

"So you don't like him?"Karen raised an eyebrow.

"Of course I don't, stupid"Jinx denied.

"So you don't care that they kissed and went on a date?"

"WHAT?! WHEN?!"Jinx's eyes glaring into Bumblebee as she grabbed her by the collar, Karen smirked.

"I thought you didn't care"Jinx stopped and looked away.

"I don't"

"So you don't want to know that they used to sleepover at each other's dorms?"Jinx grits her teeth and looks at Bumblebee.

"YOU KNOW WHAT?! FINE! I LIKE HIM!!"Jinx screamed.

"You didn't have to scream 🗿"Jinx mumbled something under her breath.
