Chapter 26

Beastboy's P.O.V
Man does Raven heal fast, it's only been a few days and she's already fully recovered.

Today was the day Raven was supposed to come back to school and I was more nervous for her then she was for herself.

"You sure you're gonna be okay?"I asked, she nods and puts on her new robe.

A few hours ago one of the Superior Witches came and dropped off her uniform.

Raven turned around to face me.

"How do I look?"She asked.

"Beautiful"I smiled at her, she picks up her hat from her bed and hands it to me.

I put it on her head and fix it for her, she thanks me and walks towards the door.

"Aren't you nervous?"

"Should I be?"I shake my head as I follow her to the door.

"Ready?"Cyborg was waiting for us while kneeling down to the cats, Raven nods.

Once we arrived at school a lot of people stared at us and a lot approached us.

"Miss Rachel! Are you okay?!"One of the guys from the Protection Squad came running towards us and was about to touch her.

"Yeah she's okay"I said putting an arm between the two, like hell am going to let someone that's not me touch Raven.

The fanboy looked at me in confusion but then realised why I was being so protective and nervously laughed.

"S-Sorry for interrupting you! Bye!"He ran off.

When I got to class I couldn't help but worry.

What if she has a hard time telling people to leave her alone? Or they begin being forceful? Dude I can't handle this!

My ears suddenly perk up as I look around the class, someone called my name. It was Lucky, she ran over to me and took a seat.

"You're unusually excited, what's the occasion?"I said with a blank expression, she raised an eyebrow at me.

"And you're unusually moody"I roll my eyes. "What's wrong?"Lucky asked.

"I'll tell you if you tell me"

"Bet, Bumblebee made me breakfast this morning, your turn"And my dumbass really thought she would spill some tea.

"Am worried about Raven, she just came back and some people might be pushy and try to question her..What if she gets overwhelmed?! Or she gets trapped-"Lucky puts her hand over my mouth with a poker face.

"You're blabbering"Lucky said, she takes her hand off. "You really care for her that much?"Lucky asked, I nod. "Well you don't have to worry, Miss Rachel is high class when it comes to Witches so people won't try to get under her skin and if they do, let's just say they're in for a treat"

I smile slightly, she was right, Raven never let's anyone get to her, it's like am worrying for nothing.

The bell rang meaning we had to go to second period, the problem with this stupid school is that they're sections when it comes to classes. Raven is 5 floors above me while am on the 3rd floor which means I don't see her in the hallways.

It pisses me off but the only good thing I have going for me today is that I have technology with Cyborg for 4th period.

It's going to be a long day.

FINALLY IT'S RECESS! I was waiting with Cyborg in the abounded arena but Raven came late.

"Hey"Raven said suddenly teleporting.

"What the-"Cy said in shock. I can't blame him, she literally appeared out of nowhere. "Why are you teleporting again?!"He yelled.

"What? I can't teleport?"

"Yes but at least give us a heads up!"

"I don't get why you're so worked up about it"Raven crossed her arms.

"Excuse me? YOU NEARLY GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK!!"

"Why are you late?"I asked.

Cyborg sat down on one of the ripped up seats and starts to breathe like an old man.

"I was talking to someone"Raven took off her hat and threw it on one of the chairs.

"Who?"Raven looks me dead in the eyes.

"Why do you need to know?"

"It must be someone important if you're late"She looks away and takes off her robe.

"Salem"I roll my eyes.

"You've got to be kidding me"

Raven sits down a few seats away from us and teleports a book into her hand.

"Why are you trusting him?!"She ignored me. "Raven"She ignored me. "Rachel!"She looked up at me.

"What"Raven said monotone.

"Why.Are.You.Talking.To.Him?"I said harshly.

"I told you already he's my childhood friend"

"Childhood friend my ass! 2 years ago you told us you had no friends as a child because your parents didn't like you interacting with other species!"She tsks and looks away. "You think I wouldn't remember?!"

"Dude you remembered that?"Cyborg asked.

"I remembered accidentally, I had class and was scrolling through old photos and in one of the photos she looked sad and I started to remember"I looked back at her. "You lied"
