Chapter 15

I am Error

"No. No. Something is missing." The lady used her index finger to bring out all of your memories. "Do you remember anything from your childhood?" She asked.

"No. Not really." You responded.

"I don't mean now. I mean if there's a memory, a feeling from 100 years that can perhaps make you remember that you DID have a childhood?" She began walking around. "Your memories here..show that your grandma had kept you inside..right.."

Mayall was saying a spell that expanded your memories to the farthest.

Here's what they showed:

You were a happy kid living your life. You had very nice parents. They worked at Hyrule castle to serve the king. The moment you were born, they knew you were a miracle. Half goddess, half normal human.

"She's going to the be light one day.." They said.

As they worked a servants, they knew a kid. A very lively kid whose skills were amazing. He was just 12.

"Link! How are you?" Your mother asked, giving him a high five. "Amazing! I got to get so many pastries the other day!!" He shouted in excitement.

That day. That night. Your parents were walking home. Happy to get ready to see you..until they met a unforgiving fate. A child who had eyes like a ruby. She was angry. Your parents tried to help her, but she didn't give them a choice.

A soldier on shift found them dead the next day. A rumor went around that someone had a grudge against either them. Your grandma had found out about that rumor. That their name, the child's name was Lyssa. The name from the God of Insanity.

She took a look at you, begged for forgiveness and knocked you out, hitting your head to the point where you lost your memories..so you wouldn't hold any hatred against anyone or you could've turned like that child.

You opened your eyes. "I'm so sorry.." Mayall said. You were about to speak, then Diana appeared. "I still haven't found anything. Who's this?"

"Mayall. Nice to meet you."

"Diana."

You stood up. "I've been training, don't worry."

Diana nodded. "Keep doing so, I'll see you later." And left. Everything went silent. "So..she took my parents..she took Link."

"You still have a chance, (Y/N)." Mayall stood up and reached her hand out. "Take my hand.."

"I can help you. You finish the rest." She said.

You nodded and hugged Mayall. "You're parents..I see them. They're cheering you on from the sky. They're proud of how far you've come." Your eyes widen as you heard and cried.

"Thank you."

"They're far. In a kingdom..lost in the past." Diana heard. "How can we get there?" She asked. "If I can gather enough energy, perhaps..I can make a portal." Mayall said.

"None of this will work out for you." Link said. "How are you so sure?" Lyssa responded. "I can see it."

"Do you?"

Link stayed quiet. "Aren't you supposed to be heading to (Y/N), instead of being here?" He asked. "Yes. If I leave, you'll escape somehow. It's better she comes while I'm here with you.."

"What can you do, anyways?" He asked another question, still being chained.

"You see my eyes? Their colors shows the amount of power I have. The more I have, the more red they become." Lyssa said.

"And they're fully red.." Link looked away.

"Exactly! This is the power I've been holding for years! A century! My power is very similar to that woman, Diana."

"Really..?"

Lyssa turned to Link. "Don't think I'm alone. I'm not. There is a god, like me. He stands at the top. Right now, he's just a voice and nothing but a soul..however, once I give my power to him..we will rule!" She shouted. "But first..I have to kill (Y/N)! Then, she won't get in my way! And you! We will be together..you'll be my side..!" She caressed Link's cheek.

"A voice..? You mean.." He realized. 'The one Ares was afraid of! She's..she's with him?!'

"Are you ready?" Mayall opened a portal. You heard screams coming from it. "Do you hear that..?" You asked Ares and Diana. "Hear what?"

"You have connections with this place, (Y/N). Don't worry." Mayall said to you. She pushed you, Ares and Diana all together into the portal. "I will meet you later!" Was the last thing you heard.

You three were going through the portal. Once you all landed safely where you were supposed to be in, you looked around to see a broken castle. Shiro suddenly appeared.

"This..This was their home. They all died here..why would she come here?"

"So those were screams of everyone who was here.." You said quietly.

"Because it was the only place that blocked everything." You all heard Lyssa's voice. "This kingdom is filled with soul that have not rested yet, so it's impossible to try and sense someone here..in this pathetic land! They all died because they were weak! Why do you keep mourning for them?! This is what they deserv-"
Lyssa's face was slashed by Diana. "This isn't my land, but respect it in the sake of others."

Diana placed her bow down and summoned a wolf. She was goddess of wild animals.

As Diana and Lyssa began fighting, it seemed like Diana had the upper hand so you started searching for Link.

As you and Ares ran, someone got in front of you. "Really Ares? I thought you were supposed to be with us."

"You're a god, but an irrelevant one. You don't matter me to me. She does." Said Ares. He gave a single push to the random god and they were thrown far in the forest next to the kingdom. "Wow..you guys are strong..!" You said.

"As children, we're placed in intense training in honor of our blood."
