Maybe, just maybe
It was kind of a long walk, but wow. The place looked so magical.
"Welcome." Ares entered a place bigger than the others. "Hello!" A kind woman greeted both you and Link. "Ares, who are they?" She asked.
"They're who I talked to you about." He responded. "Really..nice to meet you!!" She got near you with such a big bright smile.
"My name's Diana." She said. "Lovely name!" You said. "I rarely get visitors so it's really nice to have some!" She said.
"Diana's an orphan. The voice that I spoke to earlier was the killer of her parents, my father. It wasn't my choice, but she's hiding here because she had nowhere else to go or else father would kill her right on the spot if he'd find her."
"Cases rise everyday. More people killed. We've been trying to find a solution on how to stop until, we found you!" She looked at you.
"What?" You got confused. "We grew desperate for anyone strong until we sensed a great power in a faraway land, Hyrule. It was another god! It was you." Ares smiled.
"You take her away, kidnap her, take from her and now you want her to support you? Explain!" Link stood up. "I had to! The malice she had was blocking her from her actual potential!!"
You placed your hand on Link's chest to tell him it's fine.
"Explain. You wanted to do something about him and Zelda, right? But you also want to defeat whoever is head of all this killing-" You got interrupted.
"That topic was just to lure you in. If I hadn't said anything, you wouldn't have hesitated to leave." Ares responded. "I am powerless though! I was half human! Half of me was normal before the Calamity hit! I spent 100 years somewhere that they infected me with malice! I lost my other half on a recent fight. I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do. I have nothing!"
"(Y/N)." Diana called. "Your power may be gone, but your blood is still there. The fact that your life was practically on pause as you were being poisoned with the Calamity's power means you're still new. Your goddess power had been weakened until the fight you had with that spirit. With the malice gone from your body now..maybe, just maybe we can restore your natural power back." She grabbed onto your hands to check them.
"Even so, we have to be careful. If we could've sensed her from worlds away, he's so close to her that anything could end in a disaster.." Ares said, quietly.
"You'd have to go back to Hyrule." Both Diana and Ares stared at Link.
~
All of you except for Link fell onto central Hyrule. Link gracefully landed with his paraglider.
Diana held your face. She concentrated on her power to try and help you regain yours.
"You'll be fine..trust me." She said. She stopped and walked a few steps back. "How're you feeling?" She asked.
"The same." You responded.
"Try focusing, (Y/N)."
You grunted and almost even began sweating. "I'm..trying."
Ares looked at Link and back to you. "He needs training." Ares took Link somewhere far. You were about to go, but Diana stopped you. "For this, you two must be separated. They won't be long so don't worry." She said.
You looked down. "Now..you must prepare yourself for such events that can cause you to go crazy." She said. "What do you mean?" You responded. "No one told you but the way you fought against that spirit was embarrassing."
The look on her face changed to a more strict one. "I-I know..I didn't have any other choice."
"That's why you're offered a second chance to this. First things first, we need to change your outfit to something more suitable."
(For now, I want Y/N to match blue with Link!)You thanked her.
~
"Right now, (Y/N) is with the best person that can train her." Ares said. Link turned to him.
"The reason why Diana is hidden is because he feared for his life. Diana was one of the few gods that actually cared about the well-being of the people. Next to others, she stood as the strongest one. The most fierce. He didn't like that. He didn't kill her, but took most of her memories. With those memories, some of her power went along with it. Once I found, I taught her to remember what she had lost." Ares looked up.
"He made all of her work end in vain. She actually managed to bring peace! I don't know her power right now..but she wishes to add (Y/N), to that agenda."
...
"The thing is..we're all siblings going against our father. Me and Diana are more than 1,000 years old. (Y/N)'s is who for some reason..isn't in our story."
You used all of energy to scream.
"In ancient history, her goddess name is there. She was meant to stay back home and rule. However, she was stolen from us. Father went mad for years until..we learned that (Y/N) was someone who we didn't thought it was. Father considered her a traitor, but everyone decided it would be a good idea to let her go unless she strikes at us first. When the time came, he didn't hesitate."
~
Shiro appeared out of nowhere and scared you.
"Ah!"
"Why don't you try to make a scenario?" He suggested. "Like what?"
"Link dying?" He looked serious. "That won't work because deep down, I know he's alright and alive."
As your conversation drowned, someone watched in the distance. Someone with baggy eyes. Sad eyes, short and red hair and small horns at the top of her head.
