Chapter 13

The supposedly love of her life

Lyssa kept an eye of both you and Link. Her heart felt like if it fell into needles everytime he got close to you.

She smiled as she lit the house in front of her in fire. As she left, the sign of the house was burnt up but all it read was.

" L n k H u s E"

As she raised her arms up, the villagers ran to the house to try and put the fire out, but they stepped back from Lyssa's bad aura.

She turned to look at everyone. Everyone froze in fear. She pointed to one of the villager's and immediately killed them. After that, she smirked and left.

It began raining as you and Link walked so you two ran your way over to Hateno. Arriving, no one was at the entrance. "Where did everyone go?" You asked. "Not sure, c'mon." Link said. You two saw his house and gasped. The rain had put the fire away. You looked down and saw a corpse.

"Should..should we go somewhere else? Maybe Impa? Princess Zelda..? Link. Link..?" You felt terrified for some reason. Scared.

Link was shaking. This was the first time you've seen him so scared. "I can't..move." He said. You faced him and placed your hands on his cheeks. "We need to get out! We need help!"

Link took a deep breath. "Yeah.." He got down to the corpse. "I'm so sorry..." He whispered.

You told everything to Diana and Ares. "You need to stay out of this, (Y/N). You still haven't gotten your power yet. Whoever did that, we don't know who they could target next." Said Diana.

Link thought and stood up in an instant. "Princess Zelda! She's in trouble! I..I have to go!" He started getting his things ready as fast as he could. "(Y/N). Diana's right. You need to stay here. You haven't gotten it back and you could be next." Link said.

"I-I can defend myself! I can be careful-"

"(Y/N), please."

"I'll stay by your side." You kept talking as Link kept calling your name. "(Y/N)! You felt that too, don't lie. That was no normal energy surrounding us back there." Link said as he left. Diana grabbed your shoulder.

Link whistled for his horse as he ran and rode his way to Kakariko Village. It wouldn't stop raining to the point where it became a huge storm.

You put on a cloak while Diana and Ares slept, then ran for it.

Lyssa made everyone from Hateno turn against Kakariko village. Link arrived and looked for Impa and Zelda.

Zelda using telepathy told Link she was at Hyrule Castle. "My, my. You're in quite a rush." Lyssa said. "You think I was targeting the princess? Maybe. But you're my trophy. I'm not trying to ruin you. However, you took your eyes off my prize."

She used her energy to make Link stand down. Link's mental state went low. "Link!" You shouted. "There you are!!"

Lyssa used her power to push you back from Link. "(Y/N).."

You kept running towards him. The more you were thrown back, the more injured you got.

"Link!! You have to push forward! This is her power, it's not your fault!!" You shouted. "Shut up! Shut up!! Shut up!!!" Lyssa screamed at the top of lungs. "(Y/N)! You can't do anything at the moment!" You stopped and heard Shiro. He's been with you this whole time. "You have to go back to-"

"I can't. It doesn't matter how weak I am, I won't leave him!"

Lyssa chuckled. She got down to Link and began changing him.

"What're you doing to him..?"

Both Lyssa and Link stood up. His eyes were red. "Link..?"

He came charging at you with the Master sword. Suddenly, someone pulled you out of the way. It was Diana and Ares was with her.

Lyssa decided it would be best to leave. "Never mind. Let's go."

Link was ready to leave with her. "Link! Don't leave!"

Diana kept holding you. "Get off me!! Come back! Link, please! Snap out of it. You can't do this!! You're..you're the Hero of Hyrule!" In a blink, you saw him disappear.

Diana finally let go and you fell on the ground. "Why didn't you stop them..?"

"You saw what she can possess. At least, some of it, it seems." Diana snapped her fingers and Shiro had been kicked out and took shape.

"Spirit. Answer me, you were from the past heroes?"

"I am."

"Did anything like this happen?"

"There were..a lot of powerful enemies, but Link was never targeted and even if he was, he survived." Shiro said. "Right. This girl..isn't reincarnation of evil. Her intentions are different..To make the princess of Hyrule leave, to take hold of Link. That's serious, you hear me?"

"Even if it was the slightest thing! We could've taken him back..!" You said. "(Y/N)! Taking Link is the safest thing that could've happened."

Ares held your shoulder. "We'll get him back."

"Yeah..we will. I will.."
