"It will take at least 100 years for her to be ready."

The Calamity took you in. You were going to serve for it. It chose to erase all of your memories except one. One to make you suffer yet to make you stronger. You slept for those 100 years until the time came.

You were unconscious and dropped off behind the Dueling Peaks stable. Someone found you and was worried for your health. He took you where he was heading for help.

Once he arrived to the place, the kind people took care of you.

You opened your eyes and stood up. "Where am I?! Where-"

The woman there tried to calm you down. "Hey! It's okay! You're in Kakariko Village. Someone found you unconscious and seemed help for you." She said. Your eyes widen. "Where's my grandma?!"

"Your grandma?"

You ran outside. The people were different. "I don't recall.."

The woman appeared again. "Maybe we should take you to our lady." She took you to the main building. You were greeted with a boy and an old woman.

"Link.." The boy left.

"My name is Impa. You're in Hyrule. This is Kakariko Village. You're (Y/N).." She said. "Your last memory was 100 years ago..I don't know what happened to you..but I knew you. Your grandma.." Your head stood up.

"We found her..you weren't there. I'm sorry, (Y/N)."

Your heart turned cold and dropped. You can't remember anything but your grandmother. It was all in your head.

Impa gave you a home in Kakariko. You spent time reading and farming. You didn't enjoy farming that much but it was a thanks to the people for helping you. However, based on the stories you've heard and read..going out in the world seemed so fun and interesting.

You day-dreamed so many times about going to the Gerudo Desert or the Hebra Mountains.

Something else, you've heard of the boy who lost his memory. It was the same day you came here.

As you worked, you moved stuff around and saw him. Both of you locked eyes. "Do you need help?" He asked. "It's okay! I got this. Thank you!"

"Your name (Y/N) right..?" The dirty blond with beautiful blue eyes asked. "Yes..and I assume you're Link?"

"Yeah! I'm on a big quest to save Hyrule..I know it's unbelievable..but ever since I saw you the first time, I've wanted to ask you..if you wanted to accompany me. I've also heard plenty about you from Lady Impa! Something about our ancestors being together." He was fidgeting with his fingers.

"Of course! And me too. Someone named Zelda from a long time wrote their story, so I've heard..There was someone else too.." You responded.

"Yeah..I think her name was.."

"Akari." Both of you said unison.

You thanked the village for their aid and left with him. What can happen?

"I love adventures!" You said. Looking at him felt familiar.

He stared at you for sometimes until you stared back and he looked away. You were confused.

He took out a slate.

"What is that?" You asked. "This is the Sheikah Slate. Made from Sheikah technology, it has real-life pictures and Hyrule's map!" He looked down on it. "It has picture that helps me remember my lost memories. It's all I have to remember them.."

"There were four champions..myself included. Mipha was a close childhood friend of mine. Me and Revali were rivals. I was like a brother to Daruk, such a fun friend. Urbosa was wise and she was like a mother to her..Zelda. Zelda didn't like me at first. I was a living reminder of her failures. Until the day I saved her, we both opened up to each other.." He said.

"Something in my heart is telling me that there's someone else. Someone I loved but I don't have anything except that feeling..I doubt they're alive." He looked at you. "But..everytime I look at you..I get that feeling. Why is that? I wonder."

He took your hand. "So..I want to know you better. I know your memories are gone too..maybe that can be a coincidence, who knows? I'm willing to try. Maybe you're the one who I can't remember."

You smiled. "I guess I'm not the only who who feels the same way everytime I look at you. I want to know you too!"

You two made a small campfire.

"You aren't supposed to do that, (Y/N)."

The left part of your body began turning dark purple with pink marks as you slept. Your left eye looked like the eyes of malice.

"You will be burdened with the deaths of your ancestors. The death of your relative. You may have the blood of the goddess, but you will never be such thing! Half of you body that is human is covered in malice. Your body can accept it if it has hatred. Just by the end of everything, the goddess inside you weakens and dies."

You woke up with the malice in your arms, face and legs and began panicking. "What is this?! Get off me!!" You tried rubbing it off your skin.

Link woke up. "Calm down! Relax!!" Link touched your arm and it burned his finger tip. "Ouch!!"

"What..What is this..?"

"It looks like malice. We have to take you to Lady Impa."
