Sam and I sat in a booth at a nearby diner. Dean had decided to go back to Lisa's house to talk to her about her son, Ben. Sam was on his laptop while I sat and ate some of his leftover french fries.
"Find anything?"
"Just the saw accident from the other night."
"Yeah, seems like a freak accident to me."
"Dean really dragged us all the way here to find out he has a kid he doesn't know about."
"Maybe his kid."
"From what Dean said, sounds exactly like him. I can't stop imagining a mini Dean." I lean back into the booth and laugh.
A blonde girl appears in front of us like nothing and my first instinct was to grab my gun, strapped into my jeans. But, we were in public in a full diner. Sam puts his hand over mine to stop me.
"Who are you?"
"Well nice to meet you too, Angie. Didn't even get to introduce myself before you go to your gun, huh? Sam didn't teach you very well did he?"
"Shut up."
"I'm Ruby. Thanks for asking. I saved you little boyfriends ass the other day."
I look to Sam, wondering why he hadn't told me.
"Oh, did I bring up something I shouldn't have? Oops." She reaches out to grab a fry and squirts ketchup on to the plate.
"What are you doing here?" Sam closes his laptop.
"I just wanted to say I'm interested in you. The whole antichrist thing you've got going here, really could help you out in the long run. You too Angie. You both have abilities."
"Our visions stopped when yellow eyes died. Dean killed him."
"I know that sweetheart. Don't get your panties in a wad. I know a lot about the both of you, heard talk in hell about the demons that possessed you."
"Wait, you're a demon?"
"Duh. You think I just randomly appeared out of nothing? Sam, I'm just gonna say. You've got something special, look into your mothers friends. Give me a call when you look into it, okay?" She grabs Sam's hand and I tense up.
"Also, Dean's right. There is a job in town. Trust me on this one. See you soon."
She writes a phone number across his palm and disappears.
"You've got a lot of explaining to do, Winchester."
His phone begins ringing. Dean.
"Hello? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Bye."
"So?"
"She's right. Four other deaths that weren't in the papers."
"Sounds like a job. Let's go." I set a wad of cash on the table and get out of the booth, walking outside.
"Get changed. We have to pose as insurance agents."
We enter the hotel room and I grab my bag. I was slightly confused why Sam was acting so weird and my mind of course went to what had happened the night before. I knew it was different but he hasn't said anything about it. I wasn't going to let it bother me now. We had a case, my first case back since I was possessed. I dig through my bag to find a white button up and my matching black skirt. I slip out of my street clothes and into them, slipping on panty hose and my black heels. I walk into the bathroom mirror to look at myself quickly, I hadn't looked this well in a while.
"Are you ready?" I step out and become face to face with Sam.
"You clean up nicely." His voice purrs in my ear.
