It had been two days since they left. I was assuming that they weren't allowed a call, or something happened. I remember hearing what prison it was so I decided to call. I knew that something like this would happen. I was starting to get worried.

I dial the number as I pace the kitchen of the hotel room.

"Hello? Yes. I'd like to know if you've recently gotten two inmates. Brothers. Last name Winchester."

"Yeah. They were admitted yesterday."

"When is visiting hours?"

"12-3."

"Alright. Thank you."

I hang up the phone and see it was almost 1pm. I decide to grab my coat and catch a bus. I sit down and stare out the window for a while before I reached the prison.  I get off and wave at the driver to thank him as I begin walking up to the gates.

"I'm here for visiting hours."

"Who are you visiting?"

"Samuel Winchester?"

"Ah yes, he was just admitted. I'll bring him into the visiting room. You can go and wait for him."

"Thank you."

I go and sit at a table, a glass window blocking the other side of me. There was a landline phone on the wall that let me talk to him. I was upset I had no access to him and I couldn't touch him. But I knew he'd be out soon. I see a guard bringing in a tall man with hair covering his forehead. He was sweating and had bruises across his face, and I noticed right away. It was Sam.

"Sam?"

The guard stood closely behind him, as he sat across from me. Grabbing the phone on the wall so he could talk to me.

"Sam? What the hell happened to you?"

"Nice to see you too, Ang."

"I'm being serious. I told you this wasn't a good idea."

"I'm fine. You should see the other guy." He laughs.

"You don't have to put up the 'tough guy' bullshit with me around you know."

"Seriously, I'm fine. Just got into a dumb fight with one of the other inmates. Dean on the other hand got his ass handed to him."

"I hope you guys are doing alright. How's the case going?"

"It's going well. We'll hopefully be out in a few days."

"You never called. I was worried. I know you didn't want me here."

"It's alright. That's my fault. I'm happy to see you though."

"Me too. Please be safe Sammy. Tell Dean too. I miss you two."

"We miss you too. I probably should go back to it, but we'll be back in a few days. I'll see you then okay?"

"Okay. See you then. Bye Sam."

"Bye Angie."

The guard lifts him back up as I set the phone back in the slot. I smile at him and walk out, catching the bus back to the hotel. I couldn't help but feel awful for them. I know they'd been through it before. abut I hadn't seen Sam hurt like that. It made me nervous for the future. As I arrive back to the hotel, I sit and do research for our next case. I'm sure they would want another one soon after they got back. I was trying my best to be as much help as I could. Sam, Dean, and Bobby had all taught me the ropes, and yeah I wasn't the best at it yet but I would be soon.

I hadn't done much the entire time they were gone. It had been a week since I last saw Sam at the prison.  I hadn't heard anything from them yet but I kept my head up. I decided it was time for bed. I had been doing research and catching up on homework for over a week. I barely slept and when I did, I had constant nightmares. I woke up screaming or crying, or both. Sam usually would help me through them but he hadn't been here in a week so I hadn't slept in a week. I laid in bed, moving around frequently to get comfortable. I turned the tv on to ease myself into sleep but that hasn't been working either. But I finally fell into sleep.
