"Why are you so happy?" Nurse Giana asks as she came in to do her dialysis. For the past days since Rin was admitted into the hospital, she had been quiet and weak. She wasn't doing fine even though she insists that she is.

Rin leaned back against the wall, a smile on her face "It's nothing. I'm just feeling better today"

"Are you?" She inserted the tube inside of her, drawing the blood and urine out of her system. "Since you're all better, do you want to have breakfast earlier today? Your brother specifically chose it for you" Giana was Karl's fiancée and they were the happiest couple ever. They had met in high school, dated for some time before Karl officially asked her to be his girlfriend. Their puppy love had turned into something more serious once Karl had moved out of the mansion to live independently on his own and a little after that, he had proposed to Giana.

Giana was a nice looking girl with long blonde hair which she kept tied up in a tight bun that she covers with a red bandana to keep them the loose strands from dropping down her face. She was bright and was willing to help anyone. When Rin first met her, she had already instantly liked Giana, and Giana likes her too.

Rin shook her head, "Hospital food doesn't taste too nice"

Giana nodded her head in agreement "I know they don't" She agreed "Do you want anything else? Maybe I can buy them at the canteen for you"

"It's still Hospital food though" Rin glanced briefly down at the hose that was still inside of her "I'll call you if I'm hungry later" Rin sent a smile her way

Giana sat down on the stool next to her bed, holding onto her hand "I don't know how to tell you this, Rin but please get better. I know you're strong. I'll help you get past this" She squeezed her hand. Giana knew. Rin was placed at the very bottom of the list of the kidney receiver and even though if there was a donor, Rin wouldn't get a chance to get the kidney first, even if she needs it the most.

Rin's smile never wavered "I'll be fine, Giana, I promise. You said that I'm strong too right? I'll get through this"

She had came to accept the fact that she wasn't going to get through this. She wasn't feeling quite well for the past few days ever since she was admitted and there wasn't anything that she could do about it. Telling them would just mean that they'll worry about her even more and that wasn't what she wants. She doesn't want any of them to worry about her.

"I heard that your parents will be coming over next month to visit you" Giana slipped the tube out from her "Are you excited to see them?"

Rin blinked, half wanting to shake her head but instead, she nodded her head "Yeah" She knew her parents would do everything that it takes for her to get a kidney, even if that meant they had to get it from the black market. She wouldn't accept it though. She would never take anything from her parents if they had bought it illegally for her.

"You don't sound too excited though. Is it because of what they'll try to do? Do you want them to just not come visit you at all?" Giana was packing up the equipments sets, placing them back into their packaging and making sure that everything was cleaned before slowly placing the IV drip back inside of her. The needle poked uncomfortably inside of her skin but she didn't complain about it.

Rin didn't know what to say. It was true that she wasn't happy or excited to see her parents despite not meeting them for the past couple of years. They would get everything to see her okay again and that would mean they would find out about Bazz B and her. She didn't want that. Karl may had dropped it and dismissed of their relationship as just a phase that she was going through but her parents wouldn't.

She silently nodded her head at Giana, keeping her gaze low on her bed. Giana tapped her on the arm, getting her attention "I know that you may not want to see them because of what they might do but they are still your parents, Rin."
