Chapter 16 : The Quitter

When the week dragged on, Bazz B hadn't shown up at work for the entire week without calling, texting or telling anyone why, he had just disappeared. Rin had tried to keep herself as cheery as possible despite her heart aching because of him but there was no reason for her to feel this way, they had came to an end. Nothing more to that.

It wasn't because of anyone. It wasn't because of Karl but more of, it was because he didn't fight for her. He just decided to walk away without even fighting for her and the things that he had said to Karl, it just shows how much she didn't mean to him. "Rin" Jugo called as he entered her office

She wiped the back of her hand over her face, smiling at Jugo "What is it?" She had spent most of her time inside of her office now that Bazz B wasn't at work. There wasn't a reason for her to go out anyways if he was here or if he wasn't here.

Jugo placed his phone in front of her on her desk "Bazz B just sent me this, I don't know why but –"

Rin's eyes focused on the text messages between of the both of them, pushing back the tears that was threatening to fall from her eyes. She smiled at Jugo, handing his phone back over to him "It's alright. We'll just have to find a new worker then. I'll start putting up advertisements on the web"

Jugo's eyes held worry in them as he looked at the brunette girl "Are you okay, Rin? Did something happen between of the both of you?"

She shook her head quickly "No, nothing happened. If he wants to quit then just let it be. We'll just search for a replacement"

But Jugo knew better. Something happened between of the both of them, something that made him quit, something that made her cry. But he didn't ask, he'll just have to talk to Bazz B and find out what was wrong between of the both of them. The last time he had seen them, they were happy as ever, living the life that was wrote straight out of a fairytale.

Rin watched him leave the room, her eyes suddenly turning blurry from the amount of tears that fell down her eyes. She hid her face with her hands, covering her face so that none of them can see her cry.

I'm quitting.
