He had never prayed before. He didn't believe that god existed in this world because he had given him a life of misery. He didn't believe in hope. He didn't believe that something like that could safe someone but here he was, sitting in front of Mother Mary's statue as he held his hands together in a prayer "I know you might not hear what I'm going to say because I had never believed in all of these things. I never did" He looked down "But here I am, praying and hoping that you would hear my prayer. That you would safe her. I can exchange my life for hers, it's not like anyone would miss me or anything but her, everyone's going to miss her"

A single tear dropped down from his eye, he kept his eyes shut, not trusting himself to open them "Give her another chance in life, I'm asking you please. I know you're bound to hear me and I'm sorry for never believing in you but please, safe her. Give her another chance. You can take my life for all I care, just don't –" His voice broke, he hung his head. Just don't take hers away. She has so many people that cares about her. She hadn't done a single wrong in her entire life. So why her? Why her and not me? Why does it have to be her?

There was so many things that he hadn't said to her yet. So many things that the both of them hadn't explored together yet and yet, she was on the brink of death. She wasn't ever going to explore this world together with him. There wasn't going to be anything for them. If he could turn back the clock, if he could just stay away from her, this wouldn't of had happened.

She would be happy. She would be living her best life now. Hell, she would probably also be a famous dancer if he hadn't fall in love together with her. It was all because of him. He was the problem in their relationship. He shouldn't of had fallen in love together with her.

Just why in the first place had he given it to his own feelings? His emotions? There were so many wrongs in their relationship that he hadn't fixed. Everything happened because of him. Maybe the cop was right. She was dying because of him. Because of who he is. Because of what he had done. There was no denying that if he had stayed away from her, all of this wouldn't of had happened.

She wouldn't be hurt if he had chosen to stay away from her but here he was, unable to do anything about it as he slowly watched her slip away from life.
