I wake up to the sound of an alarm beeping next to me. I quickly roll over and turn off the beeping to see the red numbers 7:00 flashing on the clock beside me. I slowly push the white and fluffy blanket off of me and attempt to stand to begin my day. Still groggy I walk over to the closet in silence and grab a black long sleeve shirt and a pair of blue jeans. After changing I go into the bathroom and continue getting ready. By 7:45 I was ready to go and I grabbed my coat off the chair in my kitchen and headed out the door.

When the door is opened I feel a rush of cold air hit my face and I'm blinded by the sun. It was late fall and the cold weather was starting to set in, which was typical for New York. I started the short walk to work, which wasn't far ,it was really just down the road.

As I walked I marveled at the sights around me. Even though I have seen it every morning for almost 6 months now, I still was amazed every time. The buildings climbed high and were racing to reach the sky. The tower that stood out the most was Stark Tower, but of course it would. Tony Stark had probably spent extra money trying to make it the flashiest building in New York.

It didn't take long to reach work, it was a couple of blocks away from my apartment and almost right in front of Stark Tower. I worked in a small cafe called "The Busy Bean Cafe". I know it isn't much but I never really had time to do the whole school thing and I wanted to lay low. We were busy almost everyday except for Mondays. On Mondays it would be dead until around 12. I liked to go in Monday mornings anyways, when there was no one there. I still got paid and I could just sit and read at a booth. No one else liked to work Monday mornings so my boss lets me open shop those days.

When I finally reached the cafe, I unlocked the door and walked to the back where i put my coat and bag down and grabbed my name tag. Then I walked to the door and flipped the sign to show the people passing that we were open.

After that I knew nothing really would happen so I grabbed my book from the back and sat down at the table closest to the cash register. For the most part I was right about it being quiet until about 9.

At 9 I looked up from my book to see a group of about 8 or 9 people walking past the windows of the cafe. They were all wearing hoods and were obviously trying to lay low. It honestly made me a little nervous seeing as I was also trying to lay low and for all I know they could be exactly who I was hiding from. One person from the group pointed to the door of the cafe while another person started to open the door. Surprised, I quickly stood up and walked to the back of the register. Watching as the large group files in the door and into a large booth in the corner I studied them. As soon as they took down their hoodsI knew who they were. The freaking avengers were in my cafe.

I gotta admit it was a little cool but other than the initial shock I wasn't all too excited. I mean I knew who they were and they were great hero's and all but nothing much gets me excited anymore and there's always trouble following thais group.

They all sat there talking for about 5 minutes, then one of the men ( I am assuming Stark) stood up and walked to the counter. I watched him stand up as the rest of them at the table snickered and watched him go.

He strutted up to the counter and calmly says "Good morning" and squints at my name tag "Y/N". He smirks as if he was waiting for a reaction. Instead I respond "Good morning sir, what can I get you this morning?" Shocked, his eyes widen. It's quiet for a moment until I look up and he shakes out of it. "Oh uh yea I'll just take 8 coffees".

I of course thought this was hilarious so I tried not to laugh. "Will that be for here or to go?" I glance up again. "For here" I smirk as he still stands there. He swipes his card on the register and looks back up at me. "Ok thank you! I will call your name when your order is ready. What's the name for the order?" He quietly chuckled "Stark" he says slowly. This is probably where he thought he would get me. "Ok that should be ready soon" I smile and turn around to start making the coffee. I hear Tony slowly retreat back to the table and the hear the others laughing as he sits back down. The man with the long blonde hair loudly booms " HAH! I like her!"

A few minutes later I finish the order and I set it on the counter calling out the name "Stark". Instead of Stark coming to get the coffees two different men came up to the counter. I glanced over and saw Stark with his head in his hands and I couldn't help but chuckle.

The tall blonde man grabs half of the coffees and smiles at me "Thank you". His smile is contagious. "No problem" I say, grinning back at him. The other man had longer brown hair, he just grabs the other half and then sends a partial smile my way. I just smile and nod as he turns back towards the table.

Sorry if this isn't that good lol I haven't really ever written before. Love ya!
