"sabrina! we're going!" mom called
"coming!" i called back
we were going to paytons to talk about moving. i was scared. to talk about everything. joey. the so called "murder". john. kevin. everything. i was terrified.
mom drove us to paytons. i could feel jackson stare at me as i started out the window. what has my life become. i thought to myself.
before i knew it we were there. i got out the car and knocked.
payton answered. i smiled and hugged him. he hugged back. it was different this time.
we all sat down at the table: me, payton, mom, jackson, joanne, chris (paytons step dad), dylan (paytons step brother), sophia and faith.
"so we have something we'd like to talk about" paytons said looking at me
"so me and payton thought joeys death was awfully.... odd.." i started
"i told payton about all of this and he agreed. so we did some research. after two hours of research we found nothing and we took a break. we turned on the tv and the news was on. they reported two middle aged men. murders you could say." i took a breathe breathe before saying the next thing.
"we both think... they had something to do with joey.." i looked at payton. he nodded
"we thought if they knew who joey was they'd know who i was, they'd know who sabrina was, and both of our families and we got a little worried. they live around two ours away from here. which brings up this subject.. moving" payton said
everyone was shocked
"it's for the best. to be safe" i said
"well since it's come across so soon we'll have to think about it.." chris said
"no. i think it's a good idea. to keep us and the kids safe" joanne said
i smiled
"yeah we could get the management to keep it as low as they can" jackson said
i looked at payton and smiled again
"thank you. so much guys" i said
everyone just nodded
"anyone have any ideas where we could move to?" faith said
"me and payton were think north carolina.." i said
"we'll all think about it and have another discussion later on in the week" joanne said
"yeah that's good" i said
"okay we'll i'm gonna go i have work to do jackson sab you coming?" mom said
"yeah coming" jackson said
"i think i'm going to stay here a little bit. i'll be home later" i said
"ok" my mom said and left
me and payton went upstairs
"wow that's a lot of weight that's left my shoulders" i said
"mhm" payton said leaning his head on me.
i laughed.
"i like you" he said
"wow- wasn't expecting that" i said
"but i like you too"
"i know" he smiled
i laughed again.
"i'm scared" i said
"i know. i'm here though. you have. me. jackson. everyone"
"can i ask my mom if i can stay over? i don't wanna be alone tomorrow. moms working jackson's going out with josh"
"sure"
i texted my mom and a few seconds later she sent the words "yeah. just let me know when you'll be back"
"paytonnnn" i said
"yeah"
"can you quickly drop me off at my house to get clothes?"
"yeah" he laughed

"okay i'll be right back. mom don't embarrass me" i said and ran upstairs i got a hoodie.. joeys hoodie some shorts a normal shirt and jeans just so i could get changed.
i walked out of my room and just as i was about to go downstairs i heard payton and my mom talking
"you really like her don't you?" mom asked
"yeah. i do" payton replied
i got a fright by jackson talking to me. i didn't even know he was in the house
"and you really like him. don't you?"
"yeah. i do" i said to him and walked downstairs
"i'm ready" i said
i said bye to everyone and left
"so. you really like me huh?" i said
"you heard that?" he said
"mhmmm, but its fine. i really like you to"
he laughed
"that's a nice hoodie"
"thanks. it's joeys"
"is that what he told you?" he asked
"yeah"
"that dude. that hoodie is mine" he said
"omg really!"
"yeah" he laughed
"this was my favourite hoodie"
"that's cute"
i just looked out side and we had arrived.

"can i say something?" payton asked
"sure" i said
he sat up
"so. i liked you when we first met. but you and joey hung out so much that i never hung out with you so i got over you  but when you and joey made the whole thing about you two getting married i got jealous. idk why"
"really"
"yeah" he said getting embarrassed
"that's cute"
"really?"he said making a face
"yeah" i said and kissed him.
"i like you. but i wanna take things slow."
"yeah ofc" he said
"thank youu! if someone asks just say we're... we're talking" i smiled
"yeah. we're talking" he smiled and kissed my cheek
safe to say i'm falling for my dead best friends brother wow. never thought the day would come.
