i move the blanket to see if i had clothes on. i had one of payton's shirts and a pair of shorts on. i got up and i had a really bad head ache i walked down stairs and saw payton making breakfast
"morning" he said
"hey" i said
"why am i here" i asked
"you were drunk and if you went home like that your mom would've been mad so jackson dropped you off here dylan stayed somewhere idk where and i slept in dylan's bed. and don't worry faith got you changed"
"thanks" i said sitting on the sofa
"payton. i remember what happened yesterday" i said
"i thought you would" he said bringing the food to me
"thank you" i said
"payton i still love you. and i want to get back together. i just wanna know why you did it" i said
"i did it because one of my exes that is a little phyco. i once dated this girl after her riley"
"riley hubatka?" i asked
"yeh we're still friends. anyways we dated and it got toxic because we had to be so careful of what we were doing because my other ex. alyssa. she tried to kill riley many times. so she found out i had a new girl friend. so one of dylan's friends is in this mafia thing so i got a girl and pretended she was my girlfriend. she knew self defence so i thought it would work out." he said
"i know i should've told you"
"so you were just looking out for me"
he nodded
"alyssa is in a mental home right now but she only went a few weeks ago"
"i'm sorry. that you had to go through that. when was it. i don't remember you having a girlfriend called alyssa" i asked
"i didn't tell anyone about her except my family. because she seemed off and i wanted someone to know. but she thought it was a secret" he said looking down
i cupped his face in my hands and kissed him. he kissed back. i missed this.
we pulled away.
"okay here's an idea. we stay friends and if we catch feelings. we'll date. hopefully it'll give us time to trust each other again and we grow our bond" i said
"but i already have feelings for you" he said
i laughed
"you know what i mean" i said
"okay deal" he said.
after eating jackson came with some spare clothes and we went home.
i'm happy me and payton are gold. i just can't wait for us to get back together.
