part 11

it's been around two weeks and i'm slowly getting better. jackson says he has a surprise for me and it'll be here at 3pm it's right now 2:30pm and i can't wait. i hate surprises but i have good vibes about this one. i actually have no clue what it is. i just hope it's no payton. i've kinda been avoiding him. i saw him the other day at the mall and we talked a bit but it quickly escalated and i left. after that has been okay actually. i'm doing really well in school and i've had time to focus on myself for a while and it's been good. it was almost three and i heard jackson come in the house he team upstairs and said my surprise is here early. he covered my eyes and led me down the stairs. i was nervous. what if payton was standing there. ahh. jackson counted down and he moved his hands. there infront of me i saw
"jason!" i said wrapping my arms around his neck
jason waud. my cousin. literally my best friend. after joey. i told him and joey everything. i have seen him for a few months
he wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted my feet off the ground. i missed this dude
"hey" i chuckled
"hii!" i said letting go of him
i turned and faced jackson
"thank you" i said hugging him
"so how is everything?" jason asked as we sat on the sofa
"what do you mean by everything" i asked
"school, life in general, payton, joey..?"
"well i'm doing great in school life is great kinda boring but you know it's good. payton... i keep feeling like i'm going to see him. i went to the park and i only spent like five minutes there because i thought he was going to come. and then the one time where i didn't think he was going to come was at the mall and guess what. he was there. joey. i miss him. a lot. but everything happens for a reason i guess" i said
"you'll be okay" he said pulling my head onto his shoulder.
i smiled
