"Ok, is everybody ready. This is our big day!" Marty says to us backstage on the day of our big competition. You know, the one that Juliana made up the dance to . . . and put me in the very, very back.
The class nodded their heads in unison. Marty then says, "Remember what I said. Look professional, look like experts, and look expensive." I remembered those words as I walked out onto the stage; professional, experts, expensive, professional, experts, expensive . . . "
The lights turn on and the music starts playing. "I'm gonna love ya, until you hate me, and I'm gonna show ya, what's really crazy, you should've known better, than to mess with me harder, I'm gonna love ya, I'm gonna love ya, gonna love ya, gonna love ya, like a black widow, baby," We all dance as the music plays.
"You used to be thirsty for me, but now you wanna be set free, this is the web, web that you weave, so baby now rest in peace (It's all over with now), I'm gonna love ya, until you hate me (Right), and I'm gonna show ya (Show 'em what show 'em what), what's really crazy, you should've known better, than to mess with me, harder (it's all over with now), I'm gonna love ya, I'm gonna love ya, gonna love ya, gonna love ya, like a black widow, baby." Everyone is dancing to the song. And I have to say, we do look pretty professional, like experts, and expensive.
"I'm gonna love ya, I'm gonna love ya, I'm gonna love ya, I'm gonna love ya, like a black widow baby!" The music stops and I try to do my pose, but I fall back because I'm pretty much offstage already. I don't think anyone saw though, phew. The rest of the class walks offstage and Grace and Chloe come help me up.
"Are you ok, Liv?" Grace asks me. "Ya, I'm fine," I say. Juliana walks over to us, "See, it was a good thing I put you in the back, or else, people might've seen you fall. Like you always do. Now we actually have a chance of winning," She says before flipping her hair and walking away.
"Popcorn, huh?" Chloe says, "she hates you because you are the last bag of popcorn?"
"Yep"
