George was surprised by the sudden change in his dream. He had been having this dream for months now. It was most likely because of anxiety and stress. But this one was different. Why did it change? Why was Dream there, and why did they kiss?

George got up out of the bed. He felt he needed to move, do something to clear his mind. Outside he could see the frost upon the dying grass. Was it already December? How had the year gone by so fast.

Despite the cold temperatures outside, George needed fresh air. He wanted to go on a walk. He slipped on a jacket and some gloves and head out. When he got back from his walk he was shivering. The warm house sent chills through his body, but after a few minutes he would be warm again.

It was earlier in the morning than he thought, 7:16. He decided to get on the SMP for a little while. Surprisingly Sapnap was on so they joined a VC together.

"Sapnap, it's only just December. You don't need to decorate that early!" George explained.

Sapnap sighed, he wasn't giving up. "Yeah but what if w- DREAM!"

Uh oh. Dream was here. Should George tell Dream about the dream he had or no. And what was Dream even doing awake? He is always asleep at this time. "Wait, Dream's here?"

There was a pause, and then Dream said "Hi."

That was it. Just a hi. Nothing else. No 'what is up' or 'hey George'.

Sapnap didn't seem to notice anything was off, maybe nothing was off. "Dream, tell George it's after Thanksgiving so we can put up Christmas decorations."

"They don't have Thanksgiving in the UK" Dream chuckled. George liked to hear Dream laugh. It was so wholesome, he knew there would be a big smile on Dream's face. Sadly, he knew Dream wasn't in the best place at the moment, and Dream didn't really laugh as much.

Sapnap had said something but George automatically tuned him out, he was too busy thinking. George shook it off and changed the subject.

"Dream, what are you even doing awake?" George asked.

Dream didn't answer right away. What was he thinking about? "I-I just couldn't sleep."

That's weird. If there is anything Dream can do, it's sleep. He sleeps nearly as much as George does.

"Is everything okay?" George asked. He was concerned for Dream. Dream had been... different lately.

"Yeah, it must just be the rain or something." Dream replied. George had forgot Dream had been in a rainstorm for days now.

Of course, Sapnap wanted to be annoying like always. "OOOOoooooooo, George is worried about DDrreeaammm."

"Shut up." George said. He was just trying to be nice to his friend. George did care about Dream, just not in the way the dream showed, at least that's what George thought. "I'm just being a good friend, unlike you."

"Mhm, okay sure." Sapnap said.

They talked for a while, Bad joined, and then left- bringing Sapnap with him. Then George and Dream were alone. It wasn't until now George noticed how quiet Dream was the whole time.

"How come you didn't answer my texts?" George asked.

"Uh, my phone died." Dream replied.

"Did you see them?" George asked.

Dream answer too quickly. "No."

George could tell Dream didn't want to talk. He wanted to know what Dream was thinking about. There is so much George wanted to know about Dream. After a while of silence, Dream said he was going to go.

"I might stream later if you want to come join?" George asked hopefully.

Dream replied with a quiet "Maybe."

George decided not to get his hopes up.
