I may just take your breath away...

Dream couldn't catch his breath. Just before Dream woke up he was curled up, under the covers, his head on George's bare chest. He was so vulnerable, and he felt so safe, so happy.

When Dream did wake up, it was late in the day. He was sweating and out of breath, tangled up in the sheets. He did as he had before... took a shower and cleaned up his mess. Sapnap was sitting on the couch once again. He didn't say anything until Dream sat down next to him.

"Some dream you had last night... I thought you were never going to wake up." Sapnap muttered. "I was going to stream but I couldn't."

"Sorry," Dream said, and he meant it. "Was I-"

Sapnap nodded and laughed. "Very loud. I didn't know anyone could get so vocal in their sleep. I was convinced someone was actually here."

Dream turned red in the face. "Sorry." Dream sighed. "It was different this time." He glanced up at Sapnap.

"What do you mean different?" Sapnap asked.

"I wasn't cold, it wasn't dark. We were- at my house- in my bed." Dream told Sapnap.

Sapnap tilted his head. "Interesting anything else change?"

"Well- more happened, like-" Dream began.

"I-I don't need the details, thank you!" Sapnap said, looking disgusted. "I think I heard enough when you were sleeping."

Dream didn't respond, he just got up and went back to his room. For the first time in more than two days, he looked at his phone.

47 missed messages from George

Dream had no idea George was so worried. He decided to finally call George.

"DREAM! What the hell!" George screamed through the phone.

"What-" Dream began.

"WHAT do you mean WHAT!" George yelled. "Where have you been?"

"I've been-" Dream started. "Home, I'm just taking some time off from the world. Don't worry I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You haven't been answering me or anything!" George sounded aggravated.

Dream couldn't do it anymore. "I-I've been having dreams...about you."

George went silent. "Wh-what?"

It was stupid. Dream shouldn't have said that. "I ne-need to go. I'll talk to you soon."

Sapnap was there in the doorway. "That was brave."

Dream sighed. "I shouldn't have confused him. What if I just ruined our friendship?"

Sapnap smirked. "I don't think you did..."

"How would you know?" Dream asked.

"I know things.." Sapnap said and walked away.
