George could feel the buzzing of his phone.

Dream. Dream was calling him. George knew he should think first, make sure he wasn't about to hurt himself more. But he didn't. George moved away from the edge and hit accept.

"DREAM! What the hell!" George shouted into the phone, he now felt furious at Dream.

"What-" Dream started, which made George even more mad.

"WHAT do you mean WHAT!" George could feel his face getting hot with anger. "Where have you been?"

"I've been-" Dream paused, like he needed to think. George found that odd. "Home, I'm just taking some time off from the world. Don't worry, I'm fine."

Was that what Dream thought of George? Just a part of the world?

"Are you sure?" George asked. "You haven't been answering me or anything."

There was a pause before Dream said. "I-I've been having dreams..." Dream got really quiet. "...about you."

To George, it was like everything had just paused.

"Wh- what?" He asked.

There was no way Dream was having dreams about George. Did Sapnap tell him? If it was true, then what kind of dreams was he having? Were they like George's dreams?

"I ne-need to go." Dream said through the phone. "I'll talk to you soon."

George wanted to stop him, but he couldn't think. He heard the sound of the phone being hung up.

                                                      ---

The whole ride back home George couldn't believe what happened. How was Dream also having dreams about the two of them? What happens in his dreams? George had so many questions, and no way to ask them.

All George knew was, he needed to go home.

                                                     ---

George called Dream almost immediately after he got home. He didn't plan to tell Dream what he was doing before.

Dream picked up right away. "Hello?" he sounded tired.

George sat down on his bed. "Hey Dream, can we talk?"

"Yeah, what's up?" Dream asked.

George wasn't sure if he should do what he was about to do. "It's about what you said earlier... when we were on the phone." George decided to just go for it. He had to know. "I-I want to try something..."

Dream didn't respond, which made George even more nervous, but he went on anyways. He took a deep breath and said, "Dream," he closed his eyes and laid down. "you need to be kissed until you can't breath, until you can't walk."

George could hear him gasp through the phone. "Wh-what, George, you can't do that to me!"

George wasn't sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing. "Do what?" he asked. He had an idea. "Say it... so I know it's true."

"Y-you can't make me feel like that." Dream responded.

Dream's words lifted the weight on George's chest. "Like what? Did I, did I, did I turn you on Dream?"

George could hear Dream's breathing get heavier. "George-" he said.

George smiled. "Get me back, I know you want to."

There was silence and then Dream said, "George, this isn't a joke."

George let out a small laugh. "You think I'm joking? Come on Dream, say it."

"You need to be touched in a way you forget your name." Dream whispered.

George froze. He was not expecting that. "I-I wasn't expecting that."
