Sapnap's pov

Sapnap heard the soft mumble of Dream in the seat next to him. He had never heard him say something so calm or wholesome.

"Goodnight baby..."

Sapnap had turned to look at Dream and smiled. He was gaining his friend back. The friend he knew he lost almost a year ago. But there was nothing Sapnap could've done. Dream had disappeared, not actually, but it felt like it. Sapnap could tell the difference in his laugh the one day he came on, ten months ago. He didn't talk much, he didn't use his real laugh. His real self had gone in hiding, and Sapnap didn't know how to get it back.

Sapnap had talked to Dream, and he denied everything. But when he called Dream, he could see how dead his eyes had gone. How little he was interested in things. His closest friend, gone.

He remembered when he got the call, mid March. Sapnap had been devastated to hear that Dream was in the hospital. That he had attempted to hurt himself.

In the last few months, Dream has gotten better. He stopped, and then, just a week ago, it was all back. Sapnap could hear in his voice, he was back to low. Real low.

Dream showed up at his house, and it hurt Sap to see the scars on Dream's arm. Only one was fresh, but it still hurt to know something had happened again.

But now, he was getting the real Dream back. It was George, and if George made him happy, Sapnap didn't care what happened... well to a certain extent.

----

Sapnap became curious where his two friends were and walked down to Dream's room. There, he could see the two of them sleeping, wrapped in each other's arms. Sapnap could feel the smile on his face, watching the two of them breath softly. He thought it would be weird, to see them together, but it felt right. They were both happy. They were all happy.
