Wait what-

Dream awoke in a sweat. His pants were soaked through- either from sweat or... His breath was unsteady, then he remembered where he was. Shit. shit. shit. shit. He couldn't find his phone, but it stilled seemed pretty early in the morning. Sapnap probably wasn't awake. Dream needed to change and shower as soon as possible without Sapnap knowing.

He quickly gathered some clothes and rushed to the bathroom. After a quick search of the cabinets he found a towel and hopped into the warm shower. Dream couldn't believe what had just happened. There was no way.

When he got out of the shower he opened the door to go back to his room, and there was Sapnap sitting on the couch. Without saying anything Dream walked by and went to his room, hopefully he could clean up without Sapnap noticing.

But Sapnap followed Dream to the guest bedroom. As Dream scrabbled to pick up the clothes he had thrown all over the floor in a rush to find an outfit, Sapnap sat in the chair in the corner of the room.

"Did you know you talk in your sleep?" Sapnap asked.

Dream froze. Uh oh. What could he have said in his sleep? Surely it couldn't of been loud enough for him to hear.

"How was your Dream, the parts I didn't hear?" Sapnap asked again.

Dream looked up. "It depends... what did you hear?"

Sapnap chuckled. "Let's just say it sounded like you were having a good night..."

"Fuck." Dream blurted out. "Was it really that bad?"

Sapnap nodded his head side to side.

"I just can't keep from embarrassing myself, can I?" Dream sighed.

Sapnap gestured toward the bed, so Dream could sit down... but Dream didn't know how that would go so he sat in another chair.

"Did you- do you know who it is?" Sapnap asked.

Dream took a deep breath. "Mhm."

Sapnap raised his eye brows at Dream. "Is it-"

"Mhm." Dream replied. He couldn't speak.

"And you knew before or after-" Sapnap gestured to the bed.

So Sapnap knew about the mess he had made. "After."

Sapnap nodded. "Do you still feel the way- as it wa- when you didn't know who it was? Do you still feel happy about what happened?"

Dream looked at his lap, he was careful to- hide- this time. "I-I think so."

Sapnap knew him too well. There was no hiding from your best friend. Dream knew Sapnap now felt uncomfortable. "Okay, well I'm going to go make some breakfast- you're probably hungry." He stood. "I'll, uhm, give you a second and the washer and dryer are at the bottom of the stairs."

Sapnap began walking out of the room. "Sapnap-" Dream called out. Sapnap turned around in the doorway. "Thank you... for being here."

"No problem."
