Chapter 14- Percy's Birthday Bash

It was August 17th. The day before Percy's birthday.
"Hey Jagger!" He said coming into my cabin.
"Hey," I answered a bit flatly.
"Could you help me plan something for my dating anniversary with Annabeth?" He asked.
"Sure!" I responded.
We planned out a whole dinner and everything by the lake.
"Perfect! Thanks, Jagger!" Percy said and jogged off.
I sat by the lake for a bit. Annabeth ran up to me.
"Hey, Jagger, could you help me plan something for Percy's birthday?" She asked.
I nodded. We planned an underwater party. We got Poseidon to build a barrier around it so all of the non Poseidon kids, which was pretty much all of us, could breathe.
"Thank you sooo much!" She hugged me and left.
The next day at around 5:30 I helped Percy set up all the last details of his surprise for Annabeth.
"Thanks again, Jagger, could you go get Annabeth? If she asks why just say... Percy wants her at the lake," Percy told me.
I ran to the Athena cabin.
"Hey Annabeth!" I said. "Could you come with me?"
"Yeah, sure!" She said and followed me to the lake. Annabeth saw the decorations and a big banner reading:
'Happy Dating Anniversary, Wise Girl!'
Percy stood near a table with a blue and grey table cloth. Everything was decorated with blue and grey or owls and tridents. Annabeth gasped,
"Oh, Percy! Jagger you helped with this?"
I nodded. I backed off behind some bushes so Percy and Annabeth could talk and dance. I snuck into the water and down to Percy's birthday party area. Luckily, Jason, Piper, Brittany, Nico, Leo, and surprisingly Thalia were already there.
"Right now they're having a romantic moment for their dating anniversary but they will be here any minute," I explained. "Everyone get in your hiding places."
I swam up to the surface with just a bit of my head above. I heard Annabeth's voice.
"Percy I'm glad you're wearing casual clothes. I need to show you something," she said. "It's underwater though."
I swam down.
"Here they come!" I warned and hid behind a table.
"Annabeth why are you covering my eyes?" I heard Percy ask faintly.
"Ready?" Annabeth asked, closer than before.
I saw her uncover Percy's eyes.
"Now!" She yelled.
"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PERCY!" We all yelled and jumped out of our hiding spots.
"What is this?" He asked.
"It's your birthday party," I explained to him.
"Oh... I forgot!" He chuckled.
"You're such a Seaweed Brain!" Annabeth said laughing.
For a couple hours we partied. We ate pizza and drank blue soda in Percy's honor. All my friends were dancing to music.
"Come on! Let's bust out some cake!" I yelled to Annabeth over the loud music.
She ran to the corner and carried a blue ice cream cake to the table. We all sang 'Happy Birthday' to Percy and he blew out the candles.
By the time our party was over, it was just about curfew. We all congratulated Percy on his birthday again and ran to our cabins.
