Chapter 7- My First Quest

"Quest time, yay..." Percy said sarcastically.
"Wow! This will be our first quest, Jagger!" Brittany said excitedly. Her eyes sparkled.
I nodded.
"Okay, demigods," Chiron started, "Artemis has contacted us stating that Thalia is missing. Hades has also informed us that Nico is missing."
Everyone gasped.
"But that doesn't exactly tell us anything about who took them or where they are," Jason said.
Percy and I nodded.
"We have info from... Zeus that they were takin by some Giants," Chiron continued.
"Piper! Maybe you could look in your knife to see where they are being held," Annabeth suggested.
Piper nodded and took out a jagged dagger. She looked into the blade.
"Anything from Katoptris?" Jason asked.
Piper nodded and held up her finger in a 'one moment please' motion. She blinked a lot.
"Pipes, are okay?" Jason asked, his voice was full of concern.
Piper looked away from her dagger.
"Sorry," she said glumly.
Jason wrapped his arms around her waist from behind.
"What did you see?" I asked.
"Well... They're not doing all that well," Piper began, "both of them are tied up tightly. Luckily, they are right next to each other, but they're surrounded by spikes and traps they won't be able to escape... Also there is nearby water so that could help you out Percy."
Percy nodded. "Well where are they?" He asked.
"New Jersey," Piper replied.
We all nodded.
"Everyone pack up! We have quite a trip ahead of us," Percy announced.
We all dispersed to our cabins to pack for the quest.
The next day we set off to New Jersey.
"Are we gonna stop at Jersey Shore for a bit?" I asked.
Percy turned to me and smiled. "I sure hope so."
"So, Piper, which way are we actually supposed to be going?" Annabeth asked.
"Hm..." She thought, "I'm pretty sure it's near the shore."
Yes! I thought.
"High fives, boys," Percy said. He held his hand up, so Jason and I hit it. We all laughed.
We walked for hours until we got to a busy enough area in Pennsylvania to call two taxis. We were all driven to Jersey shore. One car for the boys and one for the girls.
In our taxi, Jason started humming. I recognized the tune and started drumming on the seats. Then Percy joined in, trying to beatbox. We continued all the way to the shore. Jason paid the driver and I gave him a tip, to make up for all the noise we made. I looked around.
"So where is the place Thalia and Nico are at?" I asked.
Everyone looked at Piper, who was looking into her dagger again.
Suddenly, she dropped it. Piper stumbled. Luckily, Jason was behind her and caught her.
"Are you okay?!" Brittany exclaimed, talking for the first time for the whole trip.
Piper nodded. "I'm fine," she finally said. She struggled to her feet.
"Did you see something in Katoptris?" Percy asked.
Piper nodded again. "If we don't save them..." she started, "they're going to be drowned! Come on, I know where they are!"
Piper grabbed Jason and Annabeth's hands and ran. Annabeth grabbed Percy's hand and Jason grabbed mine. I grabbed Brittany's hand and we all ran in a v shape.
"There," Piper said pointing to a carnival game.
