Dragon in the Sea.

At the beach ... Part 9

After a while Drake heard Sea's breathing become more soft and he looked at him, did he fall asleep ? Really? He kept looking at his face , he was truly adorable , he pouted his lips in his sleep and Drake was imagining how it would feel if he kissed them. He scared himself with that thought and slapped himself in the face . Stop fantasizing about stuff like this you idiot ! He reprimanded himself in silence . But he couldn't keep his eyes from wandering back to his lips . He saw a little drop of drool in the corner of his mouth , my God even that was cute . His hand went automatically towards his mouth and with his thumb he wiped it off. Gently , he didn't want to wake him . But they were already near the beach so even if he wanted this moment to last , he had to wake him up eventually. He parked his car and looked at the sea in front of him , it's been ages since he last visited the sea , it was with his grandfather when they came fishing together. Those were fond memories. He looked at the clock , it was almost eleven, he lost a bit of time but it was only  a half an hour drive from this location to get to his uncle's place. 

Maybe he could spend a little fun time at the beach with Sea first and then drive on to his family's place . They didn't expect him so they weren't waiting . He looked at Sea again , he was a little more slumped to his side now and his hair was a mess , it covered his eyes . Drake was curious about the white strand in his hair , he brushed his fingers through it , he tried to fix his hair so it wouldn't hide his face and he could clearly see his facial features, he liked the view. Sea suddenly moved a bit , he tried to sit straight and he smacked a little with his lips . He even did a cute snort . 'Oh My God ....I'm dying here. I have to get out of the car before I do anything inappropriate.' He thought to himself. He opened the door as silent as possible and got out , he didn't slam the door but left it open a bit , he wanted  to gain his cool back first before he pulled him out of his dream .He walked to the beachside and sat down , he took off his shoes and wiggled his toes in the sand . He loved this feeling , he walked towards the water and dipped one foot in it . "Oi , that's cold !!" little waves rolled over his feet and he saw a beautiful seashell in the water , he picked it up and dried it with the corner of his shirt . "I'll give this to granddad ." he smiled .

Sea woke up and was startled and confused at first , where was he ? When he looked around he saw the empty driver seat . Were did that anoying Drake guy go , why didn't he wake me ?? He looked out the window and saw him standing on the beach, his feet just dipping in the water on the shoreline. He got out of the car , took his backpack and followed Drake ."Why didn't you wake me ??" he shouted from a distance . Drake turned around , great he was awake , I don't have to deal with the cuteness anymore . He waved his arm to signal he should come to the water too. Sea removed his shoes and joined Drake by the shore. "So how come you didn't wake me , we are already here , I don't want to keep you from your family visit , thanks for giving me a lift , but you can go now !" he spoke resolute. Drake was a bit disappointed by that , did he really wan't to see him leave so soon, he wanted to have a little time together to bond and maybe become more friendly with each other . " Well I was actually planning to take a short break here and have lunch in that diner over there before I drive on , let me buy you lunch , since you hitched a ride with me I feel kinda responsible for you ." he smiled and lifted a brow waiting for his answer. 

"You don't have to do that , I'm not really hungry ...." as he was saying that ,his stomach made a loud protesting sound , as if to say "Excuse me mister... I need food !" Drake chuckled . He grabbed his wrist and pulled Sea with him "Let's go you little liar!" Sea was dumbstruck and followed Drake sheepishly. They put their shoes back on and Drake locked his car . He then turned to Sea and grabbed his wrist again , he wanted to keep him close ,he looked left and right onto the street untill it was safe to cross and Sea couldn't do anything but keep up with him. He looked at the hand on his wrist , he tried to free himself but Drake held on tight .Suddenly he even changed his grip and took Sea's hand into his own . To outsiders they would look like a couple holding hands , Sea's face got warm and he could feel the reddish color rise to his cheeks. Luckily they reached the diner and Drake let go of him to open the door , but he let him go first like he would if he was a girl and even pulled the chair back to let him sit first . Sea got really irritated and hissed through his teeth" Could you stop treating me like that , I'm not your 'girl'friend , so stop doing those gentlemanlike things , I'm getting really embarrassed !" 

"Sorry , I didn't mean to embarass you , I just feel a little protective over you I guess" he said apologetic. " Well there is no need , I am a guy , I can look after myself I don't need your protection!" he responded agitated. "Ok ok , I get it  , I'll try to restrain myself.....but you are so damn cute , I feel the need to protect you , I could be your friend if you let me " he tried to sweet talk him . Before he could answer a young waitress showed up at their table . "Can I get you boys anything?" , she spoke to both of them but she just glanced at Drake and let her eyes wander over his body .She was really checking him out ! He smiled at her and she bent a little bit forward to show her cleavage , she then handed him the menu completely ignoring Sea. Drake was beeing polite but actually didn't like this kind of too forward approach , he looked at Sea and saw a weird look on his face , was he jealous or what ?

He handed the menu right back and ordered two coffees and asked Sea what he would like to eat. He ordered the rice with a crab omelet, and Drake just said "The same for me , thanks." "Your order is coming right away sir , I'll get you your drinks!" she swirled around as if she was doing a dance and went to the counter. Drake was baffled , what kind of service was that ?? Sea looked at him with a gloomy look , was he mad or something? "What's the matter , did I do something wrong ??" he asked . " Could you not flirt so obviously with that waitress, it is tacky and cheap!" he said . Boy he didn't sugarcoat his thoughts . "Excuse me , how was I flirting ? She was doing the flirting , I was the victim here !" he denied it. "Victim , yeah right , you really weren't enjoying her attention!" hmmm. "I couldn't care less about that girl Sea, I mean it , I'll prove it to you !"

 Sea looked at him with a curious look in his eyes , how is he going to prove he's not interrested in her ? The waitress came back with the coffees and was again only giving all her attention to Drake " Can I get you anything else sir , dessert maybe ? " she gave him a note " Maybe something else that's sweet ...like ME?" "That's my number on there!" She gave him her biggest smile and he noticed she even opened an extra button on her blouse!! Sea's eyes almost rolled out of their sockets with so much boldness. It wasn't appealing in his books, more like vulgar. He still didn't hear Drake give her a response . But then he saw him smile mischievously, "Wel Miss, I am really flattered but maybe you should ask permission first !" He winked at Sea."Permission?From who?" she asked . Drake looked at Sea and pointed at him . "From my boyfriend off course , he doesn't like to share his baby with anyone , he's the possessive type!" "Isn't that right babe?" he blew him a kiss. Sea was dumbfounded and couldn't do anything else but nod his head in agreament . Drake turned to the waitress , "We are just an item , it is al still new to him so he is shy , but if you don't mind , I'd like to have some privacy here with my baby, just lunch will be enough, thank you !" She was stunned and turned around when he said "Stop , wait a minute!" Sea wondered what was wrong . "Yes , sir ?" she asked . "You forgot something Miss, maybe you can give it to someone else !" he handed her the note back. She was so embarrassed , she snagged the paper from his hands and stomped off towards the kitchen . Someone else brought their food a bit later. Sea ate with his head down , he didn't want Drake to see the huge smile on his face !
