Dragon in the Sea.

A dream coming true. Part 36

After they got of the ferris wheel they needed to cool off , their little make out session got them both heated and flustered . Anyone looking at their faces could tell. Drake took Sea to get a drink , they ordered a slushie , nice and cooling . He looked at the time , it was getting pretty late and they had to drive a little more over an hour to get home so as much fun as this day had been , it was time to go home. Sea was contently slurping his slushie while Drake found that so cute , he took the bear from him so he could keep drinking and took the other hand in his so they could walk hand in hand . They moved near the exit of the fair and looked for the car in the parking lot . Drake put the bear in the back seat and opened the door for Sea , he smiled at him beeing all gentlemenlike and gave him a quick kiss on his lips before he sat down in the passenger seat .Drake grinned from ear to ear , he loved this open side of Sea , not caring about anything except loving Drake and showing it to everyone . Drake thought about their encounter with that Boss bully ...by monday probably the entire school would know about their relationship , but he couldn't care less , if anyone would have a problem with this or worse if they bullied Sea ...there would be hell to pay , no one touches Sea !!

Drake put the key in the ignition and turned it ......nothing happened , WTF he thought , he tried again ....nothing ,not even a budge from the engine , it just was silent . "What's wrong babe , the car won't start??" Sea stated the obvious . Drake put his forehead on his steering wheel " Come on baby , don't do this to me , just start , ok?" he tried to turn the key again , nope still nothing . He popped the hood and got out to see if he could find the problem . Maybe the battery went dead , should I call granddad ? He looked at his watch, it was already past 10 o'clock at night , his grandfather was probably asleep by now . He looked around the parking lot to see if there were any other cars , hopefully with owners and maybe someone who has jumper cables . But hellas , the parking spaces were all empty by now. How could everybody disappear so quick , the fair just shut down only fifteen minutes or so .

He closed the hood and saw a worried Sea staring at him , eyes looking troubled . He got back in the car and told Sea he better let his dad know they were having car trouble and probably won't make it home today , they had to wait till morning and look for a garage.Sea called his dad and explained what happened , he offered to come get them but Sea said he would be alright , he didn't want his dad to make the long drive over after his long shift in the hospital .Steven agreed with his son , he was pretty tired and was about to go to bed when Sea called . His dad suggested they look for a B&B in the neighbourhood to stay the night , otherwise they could have an uncomfortable night in the car .

Drake also called home and his mother first scolded him a little for beeing out this late , beeing how a mom's supposed to act , but then sounded all worried "What will you do , do I have to come get you ? What about Sea ? Can you find a place to stay out there ? You are not sleeping in the car , aren't you , it's dangerous ...or on the beach?? " Drake smiled "No mom, we are fine , Steven told us to look for a B&B round here , we are not sleeping in the car or on the beach , and I will protect Sea don't worry so much ' but who will protect Sea from me ?'crossed his mind simultaneously ," I'm a big boy now mom." he chuckled ."I know , ok , then let me know were you will be staying the night and tell Sea hi from me . And let me know in the morning if your car can be fixed , ok?" "Ok mom , I really think it is just the battery , but when it is in the garage I'll let you know if they can solve the problem. Bye mom love you !" He turned around only to see his boyfriend staring at him with anticipation and maybe something else in his eyes ....excitement , expectation....? And that's when he realised ...they were spending a full night together ! Just the two of them ...in one room! 

"Well....euhm , I guess this is the situation then ...we have to find a place to stay the night , and look for a garage tomorrow to get the car fixed . Any suggestions ?? " Drake asked . "Maybe , dad sent me two locations nearby where we can find a B&B with available guestrooms , he checked online if they still had non occupied rooms , so we should choose one ." He showed both options to Drake , one was a modern B&B with classy rooms and a little more pricey, the other a little pittoresque B&B on the shore with a view of the ocean , Drake just knew this was it , he could tell by the look in Sea's eyes he would want to wake up and look out onto the ocean , and on top of it together with Drake , it's like their future dream was already here !

Drake took out the backpack with his personal stuff and also took Sea's , he locked his car and grabbed Sea's hand "Let's go" they followed the directions on the phones gps and it was litteraly a 10 minute walk from the fair . Drake didn't notice the sign earlier were it said B&B probably because he was to excited to go to the fair with Sea . They walked between a few sand dunes and followed the path  leading to the B&B . It was like a picture out of a fairytale , a beautifull wooden cottage with white picket fence , a welcome sign above the door and even the smell of fresh baked bread came out of a window that was open. Drake and Sea looked at each other , their eyes met and you could tell they both felt excited , Drake didn't mind anymore his car didn't start and Sea thought he was dreaming . They went inside and were greeted by an elderly lady , she had on an apron and a white smudge of what seemed to be flour was on her red cheecks . "Hello boys , I guess you guys need a room , I'm a little busy in the kitchen , baking fresh bread for breakfast , but if you sign your names and put a little deposit for starters then I'll point you to your room ." she smiled . Drake was happy she didn't look strange at them , they were still holding hands and this lady treated them as if it was the most normal thing in the world . They signed the guest ledger and got the key , Drake asked if they could get a late night snack and something warm to drink because it was already chilly outside . "Say no more , I'll bring some hot chocolate and maybe I  still have some leftover cake or something like that lying around , be back in a jiffy boys , make yourselves at home !" she was just a bundle of warmth , she reminded Drake of his late grandmother , he missed her , and his grandfather too. 'Reminder to myself , visit granddad soon!'

Sea and Drake looked around the room , it had a big four-poster bed with white translucent curtains that were held open with a ribbon around the bedposts , on the bed was a big pile of soft cushions and the comforter looked real cosy. There was a window bay with a place were you could sit in and watch the ocean , a rocker chair completed the room . Sea stood in front of the window looking out , he enjoyed the view of the beach and the silent rolling of little waves crashing on the shore , the moon just peeked from behind a few clouds and gave of a bit of light so the ocean lit up at some places , this would be his dreamlocation to have a house in the future .After Drake checked out the room he stood behind Sea, he wrapped his arms around his waist and pulled him against his chest resting his head on his shoulder . "This is like a dream , beeing here holding you in my arms , how did I get so lucky to find you and you wanting me as your boyfriend , I've must of done something right to get such a prize !" he sighed contently . Sea smiled at that "Silly ...I'm not a prize , you didn't win me , we just fell in love with each other, head over heels , like neither of us was looking but we still kept meeting in the strangest ways  , like .....destiny , don't you think??" Sea turned his head and looked at Drake , their eyes met ..."Like Destiny " he mumered with a hoarse voice before his lips landed on Sea's . The kiss was warm , sensual and filled with love and promise ...
