Dragon in the Sea.

At the Zoo .part 29

A Leafy Seadragon . 

Drake and Sea agreed on a trip to the Zoo , as Drake thought, an amusement park wasn't Sea's thing , he'd probably get sick on the rides or was too scared to go on them . The movies was another option but there weren't any good movies they both liked so... the Zoo it is ! Drake waited in front of Sea's house , he texted when he left home , he knew Sea was excited for their date , he came out of the house with a big smile , he wore a jeans and a cute t-shirt with a sloth hanging on a branch, with the caption 'just hanging here' how appropriate , Drake couldn't help but smile . That boy , so damn cute ! He got in the car and with a big smile he turned to Drake and surprised him with a peck on the cheeck "I missed you , did you miss me too?" "You know I did baby boy , I hated it you had to work yesterday after school and I didn't get to see you last night !" he was sulking a bit . "Oh Drake , I'm sorry , but we had a few late nights the past week with the dinner and visiting my mom! I needed to catch up on my sleep !You know.... you keep me awake at night running around in my dreams !" he teased . Drake looked him in the eyes and came closer " Baby boy , you know I can do more then just running in your dreams , but you will get tired from that physical activity  too , I can guarantee that !" he softly touched Sea's nose with his and then gave a very light peck on the tip of his nose . "Drake stop teasing me , you were thinking naughty things again , let's go , the animals are waiting for us!" Sea tried to change the subject , it was getting hot in the car . "Ok ok , but first.." He leaned over Sea and reached for the seatbelt , as he pulled it over him, his lips brushed Sea's lips . "Click , all ready to go now !" 

The car ride was about an hour , Sea was like a giddy little boy , all excited , he kept talking non stop about the animals he wanted to see , he'd never been to a zoo , his dad never took him . Drake loved seeing him all excited , it made him happy to see him happy , just as he vowed to Sea's mom. When they arrived Drake bought the two tickets , he took Sea's hand " If I don't hold on to you I might lose you ..."  "You'd never lose me Drake , I won't let you ..." he squeezed his hand real tight . "See , locked together ...!" he showed their hands , their fingers intertwined . "You look so cute today , someone might kidnap you !" Drake laughed . "I got you to protect me , you promised my mom ." " Oh I will protect you , you're mine , I am very possessive of what's mine !" Sea got shy , he put his head against Drake's shoulder . "I am really yours aren't I , sometimes I need to pinch myself to believe it 's all true ,that a guy like you loves me ." "A guy like me , what do you mean by that baby boy ?" Drake was curious . "Well , what do you see in me , I'm nothing special , while you are goodlooking , you are nice , you take care of me , you can have anyone you like , but you chose me !" Sea said a little wondered by that . "Excactly Baby boy .....I CHOSE YOU, because I fell in love with YOU, don't ever say you are nothing special , you are special to me !" 

Sea had teary eyes hearing Drake say that , he would never doubt him again . Drake took his cheecks in his hands and with his thumbs he wiped the tears away . "Now stop with the flirting and lets go, the animals are waiting for us !" Sea laughed " Who's flirting !" he grabbed Drake's hand again and entwined their fingers together . " I'm ready , let's go !" he pulled Drake towards the entrance , the lady scanned their tickets and gave them a map of the zoo. First thing sea wanted to see were the fish off course . Drake looked at the map , he had a good sense of direction and guided Sea straight to the large building filled with different aquariums. It was dark in there, only the lighting in the tanks gave off some light , their eyes needed to adjust to the darkness. "Don't let go of my hand baby boy , or I might actually lose you in the dark "Drake whispered in his ear . Sea turned his head and they were so close together , Drake took advantage of the dark and pulled Sea in for a quick but intense kiss . Sea was startled by his boldness but he didn't stop him , when he let go of Sea his knees were shaking . Drake snickered ," I couldn't help it , you are so irresistable." then he turned around and pulled Sea with  him to the first fishtank " Ok you are the expert , tell me about the fish in this aquarium." 

Sea was still shaking but he tried to give a good description of all the different fishes in the tank , they went on to the next and there were big lobsters , sea squids and an even a giant octopus in it . Sea stood there fascinated by the movements of it , Drake was looking at Sea , he was just mesmerised , his face was beautifull in the pale light of the tank . Then Sea pulled him excited to the next tank , there were lots of sea horses in there , it was amazing , Drake never saw them up close ,suddenly Sea got really enthousiastic "Drake , look ,look at that one there , it's a Seadragon!! Oh my god Drake , look !!" Sea was pulling his arm and pointing at a strange creature , but it was so beautifull. "I hoped to see one today because I really wanted to tell you,it is us combined together !!" Drake looked confused "What ??I don't get it !" Sea pointed at himself "I'm Sea, you are Drake like Dragon... hence Seadragon, we are destined to be together !"Drake was stunned he never heard of a Seadragon , but apparently there was such a thing , and actually it was funny , just like Sea said , they were destined to be together . Drake kept looking at it , it was really something incredible , it was a seahorse but even more beautifull , it had al these leaflike protrusions . "Actually it's a Leafy Seadragon, they camouflage themselfs with those leafy fins , and they live in the ocean on the Australian coastline."Drake listened in awe to Sea who knew so much about it . "Wow Baby , you are amazing , how do you know al that ?" "Well didn't you see my books in my room , they are all about sealife , I knew it existed but never saw one for real , till now !" He turned to Drake " Thank you for bringing me here , I love it !" Then he pulled him in for a hug and kept admiring the Seadragon , they stood there for a while. 

After looking at the rest of the fishtanks they got outside again , the sun was really hot so Drake suggested to go look for a drink first and then go on to the other animals .  They bought a big icecold soda and went to the first cage they saw , there were a bunch of meerkats , they were running around popping in and out of holes in the ground , it was funny to watch and Sea laughed out loud . The other cage next to it were guinea pigs , they were cute , little ones following around behind their mother . Sea kept saying "oooh " with each new animal they saw . Drake didn't think he could fall even more for this boy then he already did ...but yeah , that's what happened . No matter how much he loved it in the zoo , at a certain moment all he could think about was beeing alone with Sea , preferably near a bed ! He was getting hot , and it wasn't the sun .

Sea noticed him beeing flustered and when they passed an ice cream cart he pointed at it and looked cute at Drake " You look so hot babe, let's buy an ice cream , ok ?" He already stood by the cart and bought two popsicles , he gave one to Drake and sat down on a bench nearby. They faced a large kind of island surrounded with water , on the island were monkeys , they were acting crazy , running around behind one another , stealing each others food , climbing trees and on rocks . Sea almost forgot his ice and it started melting a bit , it dripped down his hand , Drake did see it and he bent down and licked Sea's fingers to catch the drops of ice cream . He looked surprised at Drake " You are distracted by those monkeys , your ice cream is melting , you are all sticky in a minute ." he said . Sea got flustered now , he quickly started licking his ice cream and trew away the stick in the garbage bin when he finished . I'll go wash my hands for a minute , I'll be right back , ok ?" Drake nodded, " Don't be long , I'll wait here for you ." Drake kept an eye on him going to the restroom , he wasn't kiddin earlier , that cute boy could be snapped by predators anytime , and if there was a predator snapping Sea , it would be him and him alone !
