Fresh start

Jacks pov:
"Great." I Huff under my breath. Today's the day I'm finally leaving. Omaha, Nebraska the place where I grew up, where my best friend Jack lives. How am I suppose to leave this behind and forget like it never existed. My dad cheated on my mom with some skank from work for 2 year, 2 years! I just don't understand how you can do that to someone, to your family. I resent him now. He is the reason I'm leaving, all because he cheated. Thanks to him my mom never wants to see his face again.
"Mom." I called out while walking down stairs with the last box from my room. "Yes, jack." She replied "do I really have to go? I mean. Can't I just stay here and live with Johnson?." I said with sadness in my voice. "Sweety I wish I could let you stay but you know I don't want you around your father. Jack your only 16 and we're going to California most teenagers would be excited about that. Live a little Jack . Now go say goodbye to Jack it's time to go."My mom said with empathy in her voice. With that I turned and went next door to Johnsons house to say my final goodbyes.

As soon as I knocked Jack opened the door knowing it was our last goodbye he engulfed me in a hug. "I'll miss you so much bro you don't even understand." I said . "Aye just don't forget that I'm coming to visit soon cause you know I can't live without my main." He said trying to act like he wasn't phased by what was happening. We said our final goodbyes and I left. "You ready?." My mom said "more then. I'll ever be." I said with sarcasm in my voice.
As I was getting in my moms car because she was driving the movie truck, I hear Jack yell out "don't forget to tell those fine Californian ladies that I said aye." I laughed. God I'm gonna miss this place.
