On our date, Tom takes me to a nice restaurant. Paps flash cameras as we walked into the restaurant, so I'm sure they'll be stories on it tomorrow. I try to just focus on Tom and our really nice meal. He keeps pausing in his stories to make fun of how I eat. Apparently, I should have better table skills.
After dinner, we go to his apartment and hang out. Most of the time we just talk. That's one thing I love about spending time with Tom, we never run out of things to say. I'm sure eventually we will, but I can't imagine silence with him being torture.
He takes me home at the end of the night, because we both need our beauty sleep. Tom needs to be up really early. We're saying goodbye in front of my apartment door and he is just staring at me.
"What?" I question.
"You're just really beautiful," He admits. Blush rushes to my cheeks. "Is it alright if I kiss you?"
My heart skips a beat. Instead of saying anything, I grab his face softly and lean in. When our lips meet, it's like everything is perfect. It feels like puzzle pieces clicking into place.
"That was long overdue," I chuckle as we pull apart. He nods in agreement. I open the door to leave him and say goodbye with a final kiss on the cheek.
