"So," Kelsey awkwardly breaks the silence. Tom is holding me in his arms. Harrison and Dakota are both staring at the floor. Chris and Sebastian are watching from the kitchen.

"I don't want to talk about this," Dakota throws her arms up and tries to leave.

Kels catches her and pulls her back, "Ah ah ah! No. We are not going to be tip toe-ing around this any longer."

Dakota groans, and Harrison winces. The tension in the room is palpable. Nobody really wants to do this, but we need to force Dakota and Harrison to talk. For the past 2 days they have been avoiding each other and making life hell for the rest of us. Tom suggests we sit, and the rest of us follow instruction.

"Uhm, how are you? Are you feeling okay? How's the baby doing?" Harrison asks shakily.

Dakota fidgets with her hands before answering, "Fine. I mean, I throw up every morning, I have to piss every five minutes, I only want to eat pickles and peanut butter after 4pm, but I'm fine. The baby is healthy. I've been taking my vitamins and going to my appointments."

"Good, good. That's really good to hear," Harrison scratches the back of his head. "Do you know the gender?"

"No, it's too early," she replies.

Haz's face drops to look at the floor, "l still can't believe we're having a baby."

"Me. I am having a baby," She corrects.

"Yeah, sorry. I'm- uh- I'm sorry," he stumbles over his words. This is painful to watch. She is still set on keeping boundaries. Apparently, "love is irrelevant" and "who cares about his feelings" is more of Dak's philosophy. I know that she's putting up a front. Still, I feel terrible for the both of them.

"You can come to an appointment, I guess. If you want," Dakota mumbles. Kelsey and I snap up our heads. I don't think Haz heard though, because he asked for her to repeat herself.

"Do you want to come to an appointment or not?"

Harrison quickly recovers, "Uh- yes, yes."

"The 17th at 2:00," she says. "

"Oh and we're keeping this a secret, so nobody says anything even remotely baby related," I tell the entire group.
