Chapter - XXVI BEYOND HOPE

"Dominic" Litwin and the voice said at the same time.

Twil looked at Litwin in shock. "Dominic?" she asked once again thinking she misheard it. She nodded slowly while walking towards the class.

Litwin stood rooted in his place to give Twil some time since she needed it.

He sighed and looked towards the direction Twil left. The day was over and Litwin went back home and dialled Asheil's number.

"Hey, Asheil." he spoke.

"It's me, Daw'. How are you doing little brother? I miss you so much" Daw's voice rang from the other line. Daw's effort to act cool didn't go unnoticed by Litwin.

"What happened Daw'?" he asked.

"What do you mean? Can't show how much I miss my---"

"Daw'" Litwin's stern voice cut Daw' speech.

Daw' sighed. "Aunt is admitted to the royal hospital in Eila" Daw' said pressing his forehead with his palm.

"Is Aunt alright?" Litwin asked concerned.

"Yeah. You know, she misses Adri so much. And the only assassin who was alive died yesterday" Daw' said in a tired voice.

"It's fine since I got another clue. A clue which will get us close to the one who ordered the assassins to kill" Litwin said and explained.

Daw' sat on the sofa, poking his inner cheek with his tongue in deep thought. "Dominic. I will make him pay for the loss we are suffering" Daw' said in a loud voice.

Litwin took a deep breath and huffed. "Take care of yourself, Litwin. Try not to miss us too much and don't miss your Alicia so much that you sit alone in a dark room and cry or write Alicia's name all over the wall" Daw' said with a giggle.

"I love you brother but I have to tell you this. Your sense of humour is way below Twil's." Litwin said while Daw' became confused.

"Twil? The Twil who can help you recover your powers Twil? What are you doing there you, little complicated thing?" Daw' questioned.

"Bye Brother. I will make sure to take care of myself" Litwin spoke and hung the phone while Daw' was still yelling.

'Why did I even mention her?' Litwin thought to himself and went to take a shower.

He came out of the shower to find a link to join the class group chat. He threw his towel across the bed and joined the group.

It's an open party guys. Quit your efforts to hit on him. Litwin, Rach is holding a party on Saturday after two weeks. Make sure to come. It's not a normal teen party. It's an official welcome party with many businessmen too. ~ Ian.

Someone was still typing but Litwin decided to not bother to look into the group again since he got the message.

"Your legs are uselessly long" Twil complained to Litwin who dragged her during the P.E saying he wanted to show something to Twil.

"What is that you want to show me?" Twil asked annoyed. Litwin pulled her near the wall to hide.
