"Huh?!"

"What are you?" Rin asked. "I'm Monkomi of course. I guess you can say I'm an AI designed to watch over 16 students and host," Monkomi explained. "Wait so someone knows we're here and what do you mean host? Host of what?" Amy asked. "Ask me that host question later. So to answer the first question, yes someone is watching over you but not in the way you think, Monkomi explained. "Why do you take the form of a monkey?" Yuki asked which caused some to give him weird looks. "I...I don't really know. My maker made me this way," Monkomi said.

"Who's your maker?" Uyeda asked. "Ooh another difficult question. I can't really say anything but if you like, y'all can guess," Monkomi explained. "Can you do tricks?" Ichigo asked. Monkomi just shrugged at this. "This is just stupid," Toshino grumbled. I cleared my throat and asked, "Why are we here?" Monkomi looked at me and gave a an evil grin. I took a step back at this, the air suddenly turning cold.

"This ties in with the host question. Now buckle in because some might be surprised and shocked at this," he explained. "What do you mean?" Jun asked, making his hands into fists. "All 16 of you are here...because all of you have been chosen to participate in a game!" Monkomi explained. ...

"What type of game?" Kana asked. Monkomi did a twirl and posed. "A killing game!" He replied.

"WHAT?!" Kazuno cried. "Is this some kind of joke?!" Sora asked. "Nope! I'm one hundred percent serious," Monkomi explained. "W-we're gonna d-die?" Hirohito asked, hiding behind Uyeda. "Maybe yes, maybe no. Who knows," Monkomi said. "Why?" Toshino asked. "That I can't tell you. Now chop chop, get to it. I'll hand out the first motive tomorrow," Monkomi disappeared.

After his disappearance, everyone was talking loudly. "Someone is really going to kill?" Kazuno asked. "I do not want to believe in the words of a talking monkey," Sora grumbled. "Will someone be able to do that? Take another human's life?" Moriyo asked, shakily. "That's...horrible to think about," Toshiaki said. "I don't w-want to think about it" Hirohito whimpered. "Everyone. Everyone. Calm down, we can do this. It's sixteen of us versus one monkey. I'm positive that we can get out of here," Rin said. "I'm with you. We can't just give up because of the words 'killing game' we're stronger than this," Yuki explained.

"Be realistic guys, positivity isn't going to help us get out anytime soon. So make an actual plan instead of wallowing in self pity or just being lazy," Toshino snapped and walked away. "Pfft I don't think we need him but I guess he has a point," Ichigo. "Are you kidding me? Why the hell are you even siding with him?" Minami asked. "I'm not siding with him at all. I'm just saying that he has a bit of a point," Ichigo explained. "Come on guys, I'm sure with all of us working together, we'll get out of here together. No deaths, I promise you that," Rin said, cheerfully. A lot of us were nodding to this but I heard someone muttered, "That's what they always say." I turned to see who said that and oddly enough it was Robin. Our eyes met and I turned away quickly.

"Soooo now what?" Yuki asked. "According to the clock right there it's almost nighttime," Uyeda pointed to a clock next to the stage. "How fast time goes by," Kana noted. "I'm going to take a guess that we have dorms here or else we wouldn't have any place to sleep and I doubt our captors would want us to be insomniac and die naturally. I'm sure they would just want us to kill each other," Robin said. Hirohito let out a scared yelp and Rin sighed. "Can we just not talk about the killing game until we have time to discuss it?" She asked. "Yeah now it isn't the time. Besides hair antenna here has a point about dorms," Amy said. Robin narrowed his eyes at her.

(Le time skip to where they find their dorms because I'm lazy)

"Kuro," Rin ran up to me. "Hey what's up?" I asked. "I was being serious about that promise. I will make sure that nobody kills anyone. I promise you that," Rin explained. I was so taken back at her seriousness. "You'll really do that?" I asked and she nodded.

I pulled down my hat and said, "That's a bold promise." "Do you think I won't keep it?" Rin asked defensively and I shook my head quickly. "N-no it's not that. It's just that there's probably someone out there who would put down that promise like Toshino," I explained. "Oh right him. Don't worry about Toshino, I'm sure he's just attempting to flirt with you and trying to be the real tough guy but I have dealt with people like him. I'll help you whenever he tries to make a move," Rin assured me. "R-really? Thanks," I said and she smiled. "No problem. You are my friend and that's what friends do," she said. F-friends? I thought. "Ah it must be getting late so better go ahead to your dorm. See you in the morning," Rin said. "Y-yeah same here," I waved and she walked off.

I entered my dorm and immediately sat on my bed. After closing my door of course. I took a deep breath and stared at the wall. Even with her promise, are we...really safe? I thought. I've only just met them so possibly someone would have the motive to kill for answers. I lay on my bed, with the only sound being my breathing. Guess only time will tell.
