Sora and I entered the second room where Amy and Yuki were at. It looked like a classroom of some sorts.

Time to explore it.

I took a look in the desks. They looked clean and not at all dusty. Like the soda stain in the arcade, the desks were cleaned with a lemony scent. Were they in use beforehand? I thought.

There was a bookcase near the door where Sora and I entered through. There it was, the lemony scent again. At this point I'm going to get sick by sniffing it.

The books had many genres. Like classical literature, non fiction, fantasy, thrillers, mysteries and even a Sherlock Holmes book. What was weird about the books is that some were translated to English. In other words, the books were completely in English instead of Japanese like all the other books were. Was this a class room that taught English? I wondered.

"Eh? Oh yeah. Well this is a classroom obviously so maybe English was taught here," she explained.

"It's really odd how these desks are clean. They must have been here a while because no way they smell new," Amy said, taking the words out of my mouth.

"I see. They also have this lemony scent, providing that they were cleaned before we arrived here," I said.

"You got a sharp nose and eyes," Amy noted. "Thanks...I guess," I said.

"And also when we look in the desks, there doesn't appear to have any sorts of nicknacks in it. Such as pencils or eraser tops," Amy explained.

"Oh that's right! Where are the pencils?" I asked.

Amy pointed to where Yuki was. "He's checking them out right now," she explained.

Amy thought about it and then she spoke with, "What if they took refuge here?"

"Huh?"

"Think about it. There is an endless amount of food here, electricity doesn't seem to run out, hot water and comfy beds. Maybe something happened and whoever was here first took refuge here before we did," Amy explained.
