We managed to make it through the mansion where we were with a few Monkomi encounters.
They weren't the real Monkomi however. It's like Monkomi that we knew was the only one who could say full sentences. These ones only spoke in grunts and screeching. Like actual monkeys.
That was eventful I guess.
"So are we the only ones here? Where are the others?" Toshiaki asked.
"Well we are pretty deep in. Maybe they'll just turn up?" Ichigo suggested even though she wasn't fully confident in what she said.
"Well guess we got to keep walking," Yuki sighed.
They kept on walking but I stayed behind. Something about this doesn't seem right to me.
How were some of us were able to have new clothes, why are we even here and what was that loud noise before we even entered the virtual world.
So many questions. So little answers.
So I had to wander off from my companions even though I just reunited with them. I felt bad for it. I didn't want to be lonely but...
I felt uncomfortable in my skin. Like I had to know why.
I wandered off to another room in the mansion.
This one did not have any games or puzzles in it. Nor did it have encounters with the Monkomi's. This room was completely different.
It felt old and it smelled musky.
In front of me, behind a desk, was a large portrait of a bear. Black and white with a red lightning bolt on the black side. Underneath it was the words Monokuma.
Is that the name of the bear? I wondered.

I went to the desk that was in front of the portrait.
There was nothing that important on the desk but it was the drawers that seemed important.
I opened up the drawers to see report cards. But they weren't of regular report cards. It was cards that showed us and our status.
Of being dead or alive.

And so on with whoever was dead.
I was about to leave when a certain report card caught my eye.
