The rest of the lunch period was spent in the bathroom. I cried just a little because I didn't realize how bad this school really was. I mean seriously? Out of all the people, the popular girls are the ones to swoop me up and try to put me in their little group? Out of all the guys, Josh is the one to like me? This month just keeps getting worse and I think I'm just gonna sulk a little on my own until life decides to calm down.

"Has anyone seen Cassie? Cassie are you here today?" "Oh, I think she's decided to go back to wherever she came from." Hallie joked. All of the wannabe students got a kick out of that. "Will somebody go find Cassie?" My sixth period teacher asked. Of course not one person raised their hand to volunteer, so Ms. Fields had to pick out a student or two. "I think that I'll just have to pick..... Mary-Lynn and Hallie. "Really? I don't think that's such a good idea." Mary-Lynn replied. "And why not Miss Owens?" Ms. Fields referred to Mary-Lynn. "She umm.. just isn't here today." Liar. "Nonsense! I saw her struggling with her locker this morning. Now go look for her." She commanded. "Ugh, fine."

"Here Cassie Cassie Cassie! Here girl." They walked into the bathroom and burst in every stall. Lucky for everyone nobody was actually in the stalls, except for the last one. "Cassie is that you in there?" Mary-Lynn tried to open my stall. "Mary-Lynn?" I wondered aloud. "Listen, Ms. Fields made us come looking for your sorry butt, so come out here and pretend like nothing is wrong!" Mary-Lynn thought she could boss everyone around. I walked out of the stall and trudged all the way back to sixth period. "Okay Cassie, pretend like nothing is wrong." Mary-Lynn instructed. "Cassie! Where were you dear?" Ms.Fields asked me. "I was uhh-" "She was just in the bathroom." Mary-Lynn interrupted. "What were you in there for dear? It's sixth period." "She was just writing on the bathroom stalls." Mary-Lynn better shut her mouth with all of her lies. "What? I woud never Ms. Fields. I promise. I don't know why she said that." I tried to speak. "Calm down." Ms. Fields told me. That was that.

I rode the bus home as I sat on the edge of the bus seat in the very back. The little transfer kid wasn't there. I didn't know what else to do. I walked to up to my house after I got off at my stop, then ignoring much conversation I went to my room and started the playlist of Selena Gomez and 5 Seconds of Summer. Don't question my taste in music. After the couple of hours of being locked away in my room, my Mom yelled for me to eat dinner.

"Watch out!" my sister screamed as she started pelting me with food when I entered the kitchen. I started waving my arms around like a maniac. "Mom! Dad! I'd like to walk into my own kitchen without getting hit in the face with bits of mac and cheese!" "Well somebody's crabby..." My sister muttered. "Just sit down." My Father motioned at me. Everyone had finally sat down at the table. Great. This is the time where they're all going to ask me about my day and how I've been doing at school. I don't think I can pull off a smile without it looking fake. I'm really not in the mood for a big talk about how I will end up "loving" the area. Now, if only I could get my sister to keep talking.... "So how was your day Cassie?" My Mom asked. "Uhh, I don't know. I guess eventful?" That was the only way I wouldn't sound rude. "What do you mean by eventful?" my Father wondered. "Well I made a few new friends, but I guess now we're kind of drifting apart." "Okay... And are you okay with that?" Father asked. "Yea." I cut short. "May I be excused?" I asked with a sound of urgency in my voice. "Well uhh-" my parents murmured in unison. "Thanks!" I dashed away from the table and into my room. Well thank goodness I dodged that bullet! I finished my homework and fell fast asleep, lost in my dreams. BRRRRRR!!!! Oh wait, was that the alarm? Already? Oh no. That was the sound of my dreams being put on hold.
