1 hour of dead silence came around. None of us could wake up in less than that time. I woke up first, same as last time. The ship seemed to not be functional, but we are not moving either. We do not know where we are. The fact that I am still alive means that I have survived a black hole. It also means that we could be anywhere in the universe.
I looked around in the front of the ship. "Stephen? Ashley? Hyle?" Stephen, Ashley, and Hyle seem to still be knocked out. I decided to take a look behind the door to the passenger seats. "Is anybody okay back here?" Everyone is knocked out. Did I survive and everybody else die? I sure hope not. I hope everybody is just knocked out from whatever happened. Nobody outside the ship seems to be checking if there is anybody still in here. Could it be that we are still in space? Wait a minute. I don't think we are moving, so we must have landed somewhere. "Everything is going to be fine. I hope everybody wakes up. This is not a dream, is it? I hope not." I slowly started to panic. "Stephen? Ashley? Please! Somebody! Help me!" Anxiety started to envelop me in fear. "I know I am not dreaming, so somebody wake up! Anybody? SOMEBODY PLEASE WAKE UP!" I started to hyperventilate. I could not speak for a bit. "Why... why... why won't you... wake up?" Even after all that, they are still knocked out cold. "If you all can't wake up, then I will have to go on my own for now." I walk to the exit door and looked behind me. "If any of you decide to wake up, then be sure to try to look for me. Of course, none of you may remember hearing my words right now, but I am trying to find a way to get the ship running again."
I opened the door. I could not believe my eyes. "This... this cannot be real. It... it..." The grass on the ground. The tall buildings in the distance. The people playing outside. "Are we finally back? Is this Earth? No. It can't be Earth." I do not know whether to stay in shock or be joyful about it. I went to somebody. "What is this planet?"
The person turned around. "Oh, you look like us!"
"You look like me!" Not necessarily. It was just that this person looked like a human. Wait. Is this person a human?
"Who are you?"
"I am Jordan Kyser. I am Earth. Who are you?"
"I am Frederick Guinn. I actually don't know why you are here."
"I do not know why."
"Well, you need to—wait, did you say you were from Earth?"
"Yes, I am from Earth. What are you saying?"
"This is Earth. Welcome back to Earth, I guess. I don't know."
I looked around. I saw one her. I think I finally get to see one of my best friends. I run towards her and yelled. "Hey! Hey!" I stopped running and continued. "Nice to meet you again Sarah Smith."
"Hi... who are you?" She has to know my name. She can't just say that.
"I... I am... I am Jordan Kyser. Do you remember me?"
"I do not know a Jordan Kyser. Why are you here?"
"First of all, I don't know how I got back here—"
"Back here? I have never met a person named Jordan Kyser. Yes, I am Sarah Smith, but I do not know you. I think you are mistaking me for somebody else."
"Somebody else? Look. Wispy but thick hair that goes past the shoulders. Blue eyes brighter than a mirror reflecting sunlight. I do not know anybody else who wears dark purple clothing with deep pink stripes on the sides. This is the Sarah Smith I know. Don't you recognize me?"
"I am sorry. I do not know you. You act like you know me."
"BECAUSE I DO KNOW YOU!"
"Calm down. Are you sure you are okay?"
