So... I guess everything is fine... for now. Jacob Grayson is getting a few "teegardeners" to prepare the planet's defenses. I swear that is such a weird word to say. "Okay, how are the defenses holding up? Any progress?"

"Oh, it's Jacob. Long time no see."

"Same with you, Phillip. Anyways, how are the defenses?"

"Almost finished with the last machines. We should be able to defend against somebody worse than... I think her name is... Helena?"

"Yes, that is her name. How long until the construction is finished?"

"I would say... about... just under an hour. I would give or take a few minutes."

"Okay, that is great to hear. I will let the temporary inhabitants know."

"Okay." Phillip had turned to one of his friends. "Hey, Sarah. Who the heck are the other inhabitants? I was never told about this."

"Some people were told. The whole planet was not completely notified because we do not need to alarm the outside. They are humans just like Jacob, but you do not need to be alarmed because they are on our side. They are here because of... oh for crying out loud, we already know why they are here."

"Yeah, you do not have to tell me why. We have one of the best defenses in the galaxy. Although, it is kind of crazy how we have not been taken over by someone from the outside because of our advancements in technology."

"Teegarden has its secrets. Anyways, we have work to do."

"Jacob is looking at us, isn't he?"

"He is." Sarah looked at Jacob. "Do you need anything?"

"I don't need anything. I was just wondering what you were talking about. There is no need to tell me. I am just going back to the other inhabitants."

I had asked a question when Jacob arrived. "Any progress?"

"They will be completed within the next hour?"

"The current machines? Or—"

"The whole defense is almost complete. They are very swift when it comes to construction. I told you to trust me, and I believe you kept the trust."

"Oh, I kept the trust. I just had trouble trusting you because of... Gliese—"

"Okay, I see what you meant, but that was irrelevant. I am not mad. I am just... confused. I get why you were a little upset, but I am on your side."

"I knew Helena would not show mercy to any human."

"I met her, but I never knew her actual name."

"You have? How are you still alive?"

"I do not know how, but I knew how to escape. She is a lot different now when I first met her a couple years ago. My brother, Mark, never knew this, so this will mostly shock him more than you, Jordan. When I had met her the first time, she never knew who I was. I had to fool her, or that was my first thought. I tried to act like I was a different species, but she knew I was a human. She was not as merciless as she is now, so I guess I can call myself lucky, but she still wanted to kill me. She had strapped me onto a wall to be blasted to pieces, but I had escaped when she went out of the room where we were. I am not exactly sure where I was, but I know it was on Gliese 581g. When I did escape, she was confused where I was, but she went furious. I took 2 months out in hiding, and then... she just forgot about me. I cannot be in front of her sights because I think she will recognize me right away. However, if you planned on icing her, I am all in for this whole plan."
