"Hey, is Mr. Thompson still in here?" Mr. Grayson had said when he entered the room.
"Yes, I am still here, Mr. Grayson." Mr. Thompson had replied to Mr. Grayson's question. "Uh... Mr. Grayson, have you consulted all government officials about the imminent invasion by aliens?"
"I have already notified them. They should trust us enough to do it."
"I do not know about that. A lot of the people there will think we have gone insane if we think that aliens are actually trying to attack Earth."
"Hopefully, we are not being tricked. Say, is somebody trying to call your phone?" Mr. Grayson noticed a flashing red light on Mr. Thompson's phone.
"Wait a moment. Let me see who is there." Mr. Thompson had picked up the phone.
It is all fuzz at first, but the message became a lot clearer before somebody spoke. "Hello? Somebody there?"
"Uh..." Mr. Thompson had put the person on hold. "Mr. Grayson, what do I do?"
"Just act natural. We do not need to signal our sense of fear to anybody."
"Ok." Mr. Thompson had gone back to the phone. "Yes, you have made contact. Also, how come can you speak English?"
"Where are you, exactly? Where is this signal coming from?"
"This is NASA. Why do you ask?"
"What is this 'NASA'? It sounds familiar."
"It stands for National Aeronautics and Space Association. We are an organization exploring space."
"Oh... okay. To answer your other question, I have been to Earth before. That is how I can speak English very well. I am contacting the person I am talking to right now to notify you of an alien invasion."
"Who are you? How do you know about the alien invasion? We never told the public yet. I have no idea who you are, but—"
"Listen, I do not have a lot of time, but let me explain. I am notifying you about the alien invasion. I already told you that, but I never told you who was invading Earth. I am known as 5G-189, but my real name will not be disclosed during this discussion. I come from a planet known as Helionus, where the citizens of the planet are known as helions. You humans had physically contact the helions with a small group of people a few years back."
"We never sent humans to... whatever planet you are talking about."
"Well, whoever did it, you can blame them for what is about to happen. I lost my father while I was on Earth in the year of 950, and I lost contact on Earth in the 16th century. I lost my mother in front of my own eyes early in the 20th century. I know how your calendars work, just so you know. You may not know me, but I was studying Earth for centuries. The only person I have left is my brother, and he thinks what I am doing is nonsense, but I think it is the only reasonable thing to do."
Mr. Thompson was petrified. He could not speak. He tried to say one question. "What is that, exactly?"
"I plan to invade Earth and kill all of the humans on the planet. I am willing to make a deal with you. If your organization surrenders every life to me, then I may reconsider."
"Let me see that phone." Mr. Grayson took the phone from Mr. Thompson. "Listen, I overheard your conversation with Mr. Thompson. By the way, I am Mr. Grayson. I just want to ask why you want us to make every NASA member surrender to you?"
"It is just a small price to pay to prevent your precious planet from being claimed by me."
"Ugh... Who is this again?"
