Summary; Donnie tries to do a experiment but something goes wrong, now he has amnesia. His brothers try and help him get his memories back. Donnie doesn't remember ANYTHING, he only remembers his species and his depressing thoughts. Will his brothers help him? Will they succeed or fail?

Donnie was in his lab, as usual, but this time doing a experiment. He wasn't sure who to test it on yet, but he wasn't planning on doing it to his brothers. He had already tested on them a few times and they ended up either getting shocked, aka, Leo or messing up the battle. And maybe 'switched' their minds, the genius sighed at the memories. 'Why am I even the scientist here?' He thought, as he continued his work. "Don? You finished in there?" Leo Asked, "No? Why do you wanna know?" Donnie responded, "Wellll We — Technically I, wanna Help you with a experiment!" Leo exclaimed,

The genius sighed before having a idea, 'Maybe Leo can help me with it, and I can test it on myself!' He thought, "Alright, Fine, Come on in If you wanna Help so bad." Donnie answered and Leo, on cue, barged into the lab. "JESUS!" Donnie shrieked, Leo chuckled nervously and went over. "Sorry Don," Leo shrugged and sat down, The softshell only shrugged in return.

"So What is this supposed to be?" The slider Asked, blinking towards his 'twin' brother. "It's supposed to be a body switching potion." Donnie answered, Leo stared in amazement. "Who are you gonna use it on?" He Asked as he grabbed a beaker with orange liquid, "I'm gonna test it on myself to make sure it's safe." Donnie answered as he turned away, Leo shrugged and poured in the orange liquid in the white liquid that was in the first beaker.

Donnie then turned towards the beaker and noticed it was a light orange color, he looked over at Leo who stared at it in amazement. "It changes colors if you put a different color in?" Leo Asked, That's when the genius realized that Leo had poured a different potion in there. "Oh my god! Leo! What potion did you put in there?!" Donnie Asked quickly,

Leo shrugged again, "I don't know, but I put a orange potion in there." He Replied, "Oh my fucking god Leo!" Donnie growled viciously, shoving Leo back and quickly looked at the now empty potion.

The softshell groaned in frustration, realizing he had forgotten to put a name on the beaker. "Okay, now, I don't even know!" He wailed,

Leo frowned, "We can always taste test it?" He suggested awkwardly,

Donnie glared at him but he grabbed the newly made potion, "I'll be the one that will taste test It." He growled, Leo nodded and watched the genius. Donnie took a few sips, immediately being hit by such overpowering dizziness. Leo's eyes widened a little when he saw the genius stumbled backwards a bit, "O - Oh god. . ." Donnie trailed off, before suddenly falling unconscious. "DON!" Leo yelped and quickly caught the genius, he heard a loud glass shattering, he noticed the beaker was now shattered on the floor.

"Leo?! Donnie?! What's going on in here?!" Raph panicked, and rushed into the lab. "I. . I don't know! Donnie and I made a potion and he wanted to taste test it. . .a - and now he's unconscious!" Leo explained quickly, his body was shaking a bit. 'Oh god what type of potion did we make?!' He thought,

- 3 weeks later -
Leo was sitting at the med bay, Donnie laid in the bed. He was still unconscious, "T - This is the second your in here. . ." Leo whimpered, staring at the genius. "Y - You been here for 3 weeks now," he mumbled, He heard a loud groan of pain from the male. Donnie slowly opened his eyes, rubbing his eyes. "W - Wha. . .? What happened?. . ." He asked quietly, before growling in pain as he sat up.

Leo noticed Donnie used his left hand to clench his head in pain, signaling the slider that his 'twin' brother was having a headache.

Leo quickly gave the genius some medicine for his headache, Donnie nervously took them. 'Wait, Nervously?' Leo suddenly just now realized that, "We um, made a potion and you taste tested it. You fell unconscious. . .for about 3 weeks or so." Leo answered,

Donnie blinked in confusion, "I see. . ." He mumbled, gazing at the slider. 'Who is he? Why does he look familiar? Ugh! It hurts to remember. . !' Donnie thought, "And Don't worry! Your safe in the med bay!" Leo smiled, 'Med bay? That must be a hospital thingy.' The genius thought, "Okay. . ." He sounded distant now, Leo noticed this. "I won't hurt you, remember?" Leo reassured him, Donnie only looked at him. "At least your okay!" Leo purred loudly, hugging the softshell. Donnie hissed and pushed the slider back,

"I'm sorry, but do I know you?"

Oh noooo, Donnie has amnesia, and its only part 1. What will Leo do now? How will he react? Sad times indeed.
