Donnie was staring at a device that was small enough that he could hold. He slowly grabbed it and stared it, he sighed and placed it back. He then left his lab, and headed out of the sewers, going to where his brothers are. Which were on a rooftop building, his tail flickered a bit when he arrived at the rooftop. "Hey Guys - What the?!" He froze when he saw Mikey and Raph training with their mystical weapons, they didn't seem to notice him yet. "You know, I never Thought I'd say this, but science is so definitely inferior than Magic." Leo commented, Donnie frowned before remembering the drama at Witch'Town.

Raph paused, "Your lucky Donnie isn't here to hear that, or else he could've beat you." Raph mumbled, the genius kept himself silent though. Closing his eyes. Remembering the times that his science and Tech has failed against mystic magic. "But it's true! Whenever was his tech even useful?" Leo scoffed, Donnie only looked down, opening his eyes. Coming to realization. . .

Mikey sighed, "The times we can somewhat remember?" Mikey answered, "No Mike. Leo's right. . .Donnie hasn't been the most useful lately, his inventions had failing much more frequently. Which is odd," Raph mumbled, they were completely unaware that the genius was listening to all of this.

Leo rolled his eyes, "And don't get me started on how he doesn't think when he's excited! I mean, Come on! Worry about your current problems and focus on them! And then be excited about wherever or whatever you are excited about!" Leo growled, Donnie let out a quiet whimper, looking at his hands. His gray eyes glistening with tears, he swallowed thickly, wiping his tears away quickly. He straightens himself, looking at his brothers. "Mystical Magic is so superior then Science Raph. You should know that by now! It's what we stopped Shredder with and other mystic creatures!" Leo scoffed,

Raph nodded slowly, "Yes but Donnie is useful." He mumbled, "Raph! Remember that Donnie hasn't been much of a use every since some of the strongest Yōkais escaped Battle nexus? He keeps failing even more!" Leo Snapped, Donnie sighed. "I hope he doesn't hear any of this. . ." Mikey mumbled, Donnie knew it was for him intervene. "I already did." His voice sounded low and slightly dark, The other three brothers turned towards the genius.

Donnie felt himself shaking, "I'm not worth it." He whispered, avoiding their gazes. "I know that now." He went on, he sounded a bit breathless, as if he was trying to stop himself from crying in front of his brothers. "I'm really am that worthless hm?" He chuckled quietly, but it was more of forceful chuckle.

"What a joke. . ." His voice dropping before turning, "I'm not worth it at all!" He growled before running off, "Donnie!" He heard Mikey call his name but he ignored it, the softshell soon jumped down into a alleyway. He quickly entered the manhole, and now in the sewers. He started heading towards the new lair, his body trembling. Tears were forming in his gray eyes. His breathing coming out sharp.

- In Donnie's lab -
Donnie growled quietly, he stared at the device he had made. It was a portal device, he grabbed it and aimed it at the entrance of his lab. Pressing the button but nothing happened, he pressed it again, nothing happened. He sighed in frustration and threw it across his lab, he winced at the sound of it breaking. He lowered his head a bit and took off his battleshell, silently deciding to turn out for the night. Before he moved a inch, he suddenly felt the ground gave away from him. "What the- AH!" He screeched, feeling rushing wind through his scales. 'SHIT THIS IS NOT GOOD!' He thought, realizing his battleshell wasn't with him.
